Got my little dog in quickly when she developed a cough. They get you in a room quickly, and Dr. Berends is ready to see you right away - there is no waiting. No pushing of unnecessary testing or meds - just a thorough exam and recommendations to start with the least invasive treatment. Really happy with the treatment my dog gets here - staff are so nice!

1st time we took our German shepherd to get her nails clipped ( she is extremely scared of clippers) we needed to have her sleepy, the first time they came in gave her a treat pet her, kept her calm it was a good experience BUT the 2nd time we went to get her nails clipped, as any scared dog would be she was scared and skiddish, well this time the vet just walked out with the needle and stuck it in her, not calming her AT ALL they then clipped her nails, that went fine. When it was time to leave (sense she got a shot to put her to sleep, she was wobbly and tired ovy?) she laid down near the door and we were giving her a secend to regroup herself, the vet just picked up our dog and brought her to the car, We DID NOT say to just grab our dog and put her in our truck! So it freaked our dog out causing her to poop in the car. If you have a nervous dog do not bring them here, the way they treated her was awful!! And for how much money we pay them to get her stuff done + dog and cat food I expected more respect, what they did was so disrespectful and wrong you NEVER touch someone’s dog without asking let alone just grabbing her and throwing her in someone’s car?! Never will they get my mom or service again!

I live in the Rochester area but was referred to the St Charles Vet Clinic and so decided to visit them with my pets. I was greeted by friendly professional staff and a very clean environment. Dr. Berends is awesome. He is knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend this Clinic and well worth the short drive out of town.

Was looking for answers for our 1y.o. pup for months with our previous vet. Decided to get a second opinion with St. Charles vet clinic. Dr. Berends knew what was going on before we even enter the exam room.
It was very difficult news. Pam and staff were there every step of the way being supportive and answered all of my questions the best they could.
Can't thank them enough for being there for Celia until the very end. ❤️

I absolutely love this clinic. I had adopted a dog back in October and brought him in to make sure everything was ok with concerns of an ear infection. The ears were fine and the vet also answered my abundance of questions(without looking at me like I am crazy). A few weeks later he starts vomiting on and off, so back to the vet we go. I am going through my concerns and we conclude it is likely anxiety. First we try supplements. I loved that the vet did not jump to medications first. When the supplements did not work, we switched him to a medication. His anxiety was finally down and he stopped puking. This vet was so patient in figuring out what was wrong. Because of my experience with my dog, I know make my parents bring their dog here (and they are in the cities!). The other thing I absolutely love is the vet trims the dogs nails and does their glands, and I am in the room while they do anything like this. At a previous clinic I had been at, they acted like it was an inconvenience for me to be in the room for any of this and it was always a tech who did their nails. Overall, I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

Last week we had to make the tough decision to put our Clyde to sleep. Dr. Berends and all the staff were so kind and wonderful during this difficult time for us. It take a special person to be able to do what you do. Thank you!

The staff here are all amazing and very helpful. Highly recommend bringing your pet here! My dog has been dealing with seizures over the past few months, and the all of the staff here have been extremely responsive and supportive. If I could give an extra star, I would definitely do that!

The staff here is great. I had to board my dog due to an urgent situation and they took him in right away. He was there for 6 weeks and had the best care. They also made time to see him today on short notice for his shots. Always courteous and helpful!
