edited to five stars. I was a little upset at first that my mailboxes had to be outside the cul-de-sac. Only because at that time others had mailboxes in them around town and I know this still got mail. But they really have provided excellent service the last few years since we have lived in town and the mail carriers are always kind and leave puppy snacks for my dogs. So 5 stars it is!!

The absolute worst place, regularly incorrectly deliver my mail or other’s mail, damage packages, and the rudest customer service.

I didn't catch the name of the lady working but her customer service is terrible. I waited for a while for her to stop talking with the person in front of me (friend or relative by the subject of their conversation) before she got to me. I had a question about a specific piece of mail and she didn't even try to help me. She didn't ask for the tracking number, didn't ask any details. Basically just told me to look it up for myself. That would be fine, if that was all I needed. I was actually there to ask about holding my mail. I didn't get to ask because she made it awkward by her dismissive attitude. I was happy with my service here for the most part. But today changed all that. Sadly this is the norm when dealing with the postal service lately. Hopefully someday the private sector takes them out. USPS staff are just too comfortable in their rudeness.

Sent a package to me Son, and due to the fact that a snowplow covered up the entrance to his driveway, they wouldn't deliver it. He went into the post office to pick up the package, and they wouldn't give him the package until he shoveled his driveway. The lady was extremely rude and didn't care that they had been getting mail and packages delivered without issue from everyone else. No wonder the Post offices are losing money.

Jared has great customer service skills! We ordered a Kindle for my daughter for our long road trip, after ordering there was a delay and it was supposed to come after we left. I called to see if I could pick it up before it went out for delivery and he said it should be there the next day and since it was prime days they'll have tons of packages to go through, but he would try and find it and set it aside. I called the next day and he already had it set aside, I asked how late they are open so I could come pick it up, and he said we would drop it off! Thanks to him he saved my daughter many hours of boredom!

With a recent uptick in my need to interact with the USPS, I have been on a little bit of a learning curve (now that the backbone mail service has as many features, services, and options as any other existing entity in today's world) - so more often than not ever visit is enlighten to some degree. Finally made my first visit to the Rush City office (oddly, the one closer to home, significantly) to drop off four identical items, all going to different destinations. All four had pre-paid labels ready in the system, just needed to scan 'em and stick' em.Luckily a helpful, curious, and thankfully eager to expand his own knowledge of his place of work - gentleman was there to help.Wasn't sure they offered a particular service... Just about to head to another office, when.. Volia! Just like that, Rush City post office stepped up, got better at what it does, and expanded its regular clientele, by a greatful individual.Sometimes working together - even the ignorant can conquer any issue. Questions and advice offer results, just have some faith in each other. Thanks for the help RC-USPS, see you again soon. - Five Big Ones!

Automated phone system is the worst I’ve ever delt with. Frustrating to say the least when a person cannot just call and speak to someone with their automated system wasting my time.

Jodi is very rude and her customer service is terrible. I asked her to look up a tracking number and she wouldn’t and dropped off a package one day and she was very rude towards me. I have never been treated so poorly by a individual.

They have been delivering my letters to my address since I moved in August, but for some reason they randomly send packages back to the sender for no particular reason.

There is one really amazing employee here whom of which I love, as she is very kind and understanding! Before writing this I’d like to state that I work nights so showing up at the post office at a decent time can be very hard at times, because I need my sleep, and I understand that the world can’t make accommodations for my sleep schedule :)Today I showed up, unfortunately three minutes before closing, which I have done multiple times before (i would always be polite and apologize, I understand it’s not exactly nice to deal with a late customer) and they have still let me come in and put my packages into the system, while being considerate and understanding. But today as I was getting out of my car the employee stopped me and asked if my packages were prepaid, I told her no, and then she told me that she would not be putting my packages into the system today, and redirected me to 2 usps’ in 2 different towns that closed in just 30 minutes. I understand that it was probably frustrating for me to show up so late, but there are times where you have to stay 3 minutes after work to help out customers, there have been times where I’ve had to stay 20 minutes after work at my job because a customer needed help. So for me, this was poor customer service. Especially considering I only had 3 packages and most likely wouldn’t have taken any more than 5 minutes. I will most likely be taking my business to the pine city usps from now on.

Poor service and very rude employees, not helpful at all. I would recommend a different usps store in another city if you have that option.

Great customer service and they are very knowledgeable about their products. I had a great experience while sending out a package. The clerk was both happy and efficient. In regard to the other comment on here stating that the customer was upset that they could not come in early to pick up their paClare, I just want to say: what is early to you is not early for the Post Office. Your package was most likely out for delivery. At the very least it had been sorted and placed in a vehicle in order to be delivered. Your request was unreasonable based on how early employees arrive at st the office to sort and organize the mail.
