Super unhelpful and plain disrespectful staff. My friend was messing with a top in the back of the store and struggling to get it back on the hanger and an employee came up to her and said “I know what you are trying to do. I’m gonna suggest you leave.” It made my friend super uncomfortable and anxious the rest of the mall trip. Thanks for ruining our day!

COVID paranoia is strong with the staff. Signs say please wear a mask, but the 2 store employees stated that one was required and then offered to have us purchase one for $1.99. The other employee lectured us before falsely stating that most of the stores in the mall required masks, not knowing that we had just visited all but one of the clothing stores WITHOUT MASKS. So, which one is it? Masks as policy or just a suggestion?

Would not go here again. Service is sub-par and selection is heavily skewed to the 16-24 age group. If looking for a place to thrift shop, there are many other options in the Twin Cities that will provide you with a better experience. If you are already in Rosedale Shopping Center and want to kill some time, this is a fine place. However, if you are looking for a true thrift experience, do not go here.

When this store was located outside of the Rosedale mall, in its own strip mall by Harmar, it was a great store and I always found what I was looking for. Recently, they moved to inside the Rosedale mall and it is all bad. No tank tops and that's what I drove out to Ragstock for and the store in general looked sad and could use better lighting and more color.

I feel sorry for the employee who was spoken to so rudely by his manager today! I was shopping for ZPC And was shocked by the way the manager spoke to her employee. It was very unbecoming of a store manager to speak that way to her employees. Maybe she needs to be reminded of how to speak to others!

Extremely unhelpful staff. They had a BOGO 50% off sale, but when they rang me up, they charged me for the two most expensive items and discounted a few bucks off the cheapest item. Also, there was a sale that said all metallic items 25% off, but when I grabbed a metallic jacket off of the rack that said 25% off, they charged me full price and said it doesn't count because it's halloween apparel. Unfortunately, I didn't notice these mistakes until after I had signed the receipt and they didn't offer to adjust the prices or help with anything. Even when I explained what had happened and that I should have paid $10-15 less, they just said "oh". Very poor customer service...

Small selection. Staff wasn't very helpful with what we were looking for.

Helpful staff and pleasant store environment. Purchased a recycled kimono here for a very reasonable price.

I called once thinking you guys had boxes of rags for sale for my gallery. I was wrong and felt ashamed of myself. A few weeks later I went in and bought some clothes and I was blown away by the fantastic sales crew. They were very helpful and they didn't judge me by my appearance which was awfully considerate. I bought some beautiful flannels and dashing jeans. 5/5.

Cute clothes from time to time...when I am in there outside of Halloween anyways. However they are sized for dolls. My friend is the skinniest person I know and couldn't fit into most of what they had on the racks for Halloween or the normal stuff we tried to make into a Halloween costume. Plus all the stuff they do sell is cheap poorly made clothing that you wouldn't/couldn't wear for more than a single costume party. For next Halloween I will be using costume retailers on amazon since you spend just as much at ragstock anyways and they have sizes for normal people.

Random clothes and vintage pieces. Also consignment type clothes. Great place to find a cheap costume. They usually have lots of army clothes and hats, mittens.

Although the wharehouse district store is really the only one left in the TC that follows their old pattern, it is still worth a trek over there at leat once a year. The true Ragstock formula is a blend of cheap knock-off clothes, used, vintage and some crazy suprlus items. Back in the day you could go there and pull together a unique look, or a halloween costume for peanuts. More and more the mall stores have been about cheap knock-offs. Gone are the day where you'd scale a mountain of flannel shirts to find just the right one or dig in the big barrel of belts to find something crazy fun. I think their vintage selection has never been all that great. Right now, I'd say Everyday people or one of the proper vintage stores would be a better bet. Their surplus is mostly at the Wharehouse store and that can be really fun, especially if you have the sewing skills to convert that 70s ruffled tuxedo shirt into a cute little dress.
