It smelled pretty bad, kind of like garlic mixed with cheese powder. I could tell that the smell wasn’t from the adjoining restaurants that surround it, (Mavericks and Subway) so I can only assume that it was the natural smell of the store.

I'm sorry but this place is super gross. I walked in there and was immediately hit with an extremely foul smell, it smelled sort of like moldy pizza from Little Ceasar's or something. Went to look at the shirts and several of them had really gnarly crusty stains and seemed unwashed, but maybe they just weren't washed thoroughly enough. The big thing really is the smell, I wasn't able to get used to the cheesy scent and I was very glad to leave and get some fresh air. I can excuse a store being disorganized, happens all the time with stores that sell used goods, but your store should NOT smell like this man. Seriously do you have moldy cheese in your walls?

15 years old today, Mr. Zeros is jam packed with cool stuff. If you're a music collector it's almost impossible to walk out empty handed. Just off Larpenteur and within walking distance of Como Park, this music/collectible/videogames/younameit shop has something for every mediaphile. Picked up 9 CDs today and they all play flawlessly. Affordable.

Super cool store! I came in just to look around originally but when I walked in I saw a James Dean collector doll I had been looking for for what felt like forever. The guy at the front (I assume the owner but I'm not sure) helped me get it down and also helped me look around for a James Dean magazine he thought I would be interested in. We couldn't find it but it was really nice that he made the connection and was willing to help me look for it. There's lots of super cool stuff here and if you're around and a collector of items it's definitely a place you want to go. I will be coming back!

I went in today and got some awesome records. I wish I had more so I could buy the Bob Marley record, but maybe some other time. The dude behind the counter who I think is Mr. Zero shared his ultra secret recipe for record cleaner and now I’m making a bottle to clean my records. Bought some Paul McCartney, Starbuck, Simon and Garfunkel, Shel Silverstein, and Supetramp records. I want to go back in and see if they have Pee Wee Herman collectible stuff. I also might want to come back and get a legit record player because my suitcase is gonna destroy stuff and I have to pay for a new needle soon. You can really feel the energy of the old merchandise… it’s kind of like how you walk into a metaphysical store and feel the crystals and the energy, but this store brought me back to the 90’s, and I’ll be coming back to sift through all the records again. That old Nintendo and the Beatles records might be mine. I miss that stuff and I want to come back and grab it. Thanks for your knowledge and help today, Mr. Zero. Screw those a$$h0l3s that stole stuff from the store. People are stupid and no one has a mind that wants to learn, it seems.

So surprised I had never been to Mr. Zero's before today. I actually found them searching VHS sellers in the Twin Cities and thankfully one person mentioned they had em. Stopped in and was greeted by the owner - who I am pretty sure is the Mr. Zero. He showed us to the goods and we got searching. Found some good ones but expect to spend a bit more than thrift stores. I would say comparable to Half Price Books.Either way - they've got it all! Records, DVDs, CD's, cassettes, video games and consoles, nostalgic memorabilia and vintage clothing.
