This was by far the best liquor store I've ever shopped at! Immediately upon entrance, I was offered tastings of 5 different wines, tequila and whiskey!

My boyfriend had to run in for a bottle opener and a couple of bottles for Christmas and a worker wearing a vikings jersey and either a packers hat or just a brown and yellow hat was just rude at the end. He was being checked out by this employee and the employee asked if he wanted a bag which he said yes to. When he reminded the worker he wanted a bag the worker replied "you just said you didn't" and got mad. Even if we had just changed our minds and wanted a bag you don't have to act upset.

Friendly and liquor for all occasions

Shopping at a liquor store is generally a rare occasion for me. I just don't drink alcohol very much. However, I do like to keep some alcoholic beverages on hand for the occasional need of a shot of whiskey to take care of a persistent cough and/or scratchy throat for medicinal purposes (I'm allergic to many OTC and prescription drugs).It's also nice to have a little mead (fermented honey) with a nice dinner at home, once in a while, or a cold light beer with lunch on a hot summer day.Since I recently ran out of the usual alcoholic beverages, and I was near the MGM liquor store in Roseville on Larpentuer, thought it was a good time to stop in for a little light shopping there.With a wide selection of items on the shelves, and many varied prices from too expensive for me to reasonable ones, I was able to stay within my tight budget. The staff were very helpful in helping me find what I needed. They were friendly and professional.All in all, I'd say my experience at this store was pleasantly positive.

OMG! Go to the grocery liquor stores. You'll be treated better. I visited MGM Wine and Spirits in Roseville. Worst mistake--for the week of January 14. I wanted a beer to accompany my tacos. It was a Saturday night taco bonanza at my house. I rolled the cart to the back of the store that was not curtained off and the 'Employees Only' sign was not prominently displayed. I didn't noticed it until after being aggressively confronted by a store employee. "Are you looking for something?" Yeah, beer and white wine. "Well, it's not back there. That' backstock. All our stuff...." I never worked in grocery or liquor retail, so I didn't know WTF backstock was. The petite femail with raven hair and combat boots held me hostage with a verbal description of the store and all it's selections. In my mind I'm thinking, "Lady, I just want to get my fave beer and a wine and go home to eat." She continued to follow me as I cautiously made my way to the front of the store. I put the cart away and walked out. It's great that employees are so well-informed and somewhere on the sprectrum, but gd I didn't need it that night. Then I realized I was in the wrong store. I was accustomed to purchasing adult beverages at the nearby grocery store, which does have a walk-in cooler for customers. How could I forget? I have no idea. I used to shop MGM when they were in a bigger location. Now, a Walgreen's is there.
