Awful experience. I turned in my engagement ring to get resized and for them to fix a cracked Diamond and I waited months before finally giving up and demanding a refund because they kept pushing the “promise date” which isn’t actually a guaranteed date. I called corporate and the store and customer service to ask where the ring was and I got tons of different responses like “it’s at our vendor in India”, “it’s at the corporate office in Ohio”, “it never left the state” and “we don’t know where it is”. This coupled with the fact they kept pushing the “promise” date I figured they had lost the ring and I demanded a FULL REFUND to which they gave me. I should also mention how they said that if they couldn’t “mine” the exact quality Diamond in the ring I was asking to be fixed then they would put a higher quality Diamond in it so I could get the ring back faster. But when I called they said they “can’t do that because it’s an invisible set” to which I said “well then why did the store tell me that”.Point is, it’s a big major cooperate company. Signet owns Kay JEWLERs, Zales and Jared’s. They are a huge company meaning it’s easier to loose rings and/or not care if it takes months and months to get back to the owner (if it ever even does). I would HIGHLY recommend going to a small owned business instead.*also I had to be the one constantly contacting them about when I could pick it up! I came in on the promise date and they said they did not have it ready. They should have let me know beforehand before I wasted my time. After that, I kept calling and calling for updates to which I had to be transferred over and over again on the phone.

The customer service staff, Shawna S., was very caring,patient, knowledgable & was able to upload data from the old Goodman's system, so our info. from 1998 should now be interconnected w/ the Kay system. This gave me peace-of-mind, as past few 6 month ring checks no one has been able to email or print "proof" for us, that we actually came in. [Not even staff from parent company Sterling (Signet?), in Akron OH was able to.] We created our wedding ring through Goodman's in 1998. [Lost-wax method creation w/ diamond we picked out & earth-mined, God created emeralds & diamond.] This was not a pick a band, pick a gem, pick a style like a menu selection type of creation. We've been coming in every 6 months since 1998 AND before that with a different ring, as well.Shawna deserves a promotion.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Kay Jewelers! Shawna was BEYOND helpful she gave excellent advice! She answered all of my questions and concerns. She was respectful, kind, and also has great professionalism. I appreciate her assistance while I was in the store.
