Walked in to see the process of opening a bank account. The teller seen me walk in made eye contact and then started clicking on her computer. I stood there for a second staring at her and kinda glancing around. And no one even approached me .. MIND YOU .. NO OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE IN THE LOBBY. I turned around and walked out.

Incompetent front desk. Messages not forwarded. 3 days waiting for a call back that never came. During the move of the Roseville abranch, no mail forwarding. $3000.00 in checks were returned to me 2 weeks after i mailed them. This caused me bank return fees, late fees on my utilities and mortgage.The following month, Any employee could apparently decide to hold a local check deposit for 7 days on my 26 years member’s account, therefore causing my account to go negative again, causing more tthan $200.00 return fees on automated paymenrs that keep being attempted, late again on my mortgage and utilities. My credit score is now impacted negatively.4 days after contacting the branch manager, no news. He “felt” he needed to contact his boss in Michigan to revert $280.00 of fees that he admitted should never have had happened because of the wrong hold.My.check was mailed on April 1, not deposited until April 7, with a hold until April 14. Now, i still cannot pay my bills because the credit union still has not reversed the fees and i dont have enough money on the account. Who will compensate me for all this ?Avoid Genisys Credit Union Roseville. Theie processes are flawed and their staff not trained correctly. 26 years with this credit union and this branch, only to come to this kind of situation, is heartbreaking.

We encountered a problem with our loan which resulted in them accidentally adding INSURANCE on a car loan that was fully insured. Matt was very helpful, They worked to get the insurance removed and restored our loan to its original amount. Everyone here is great to work with, and love there new location.

Thanks to Sasha and her team member for making my transaction smooth! I was selling my car and had to pay off the loan for it so I called in and spoke with Sasha, I asked if she can send me the 10 day payout document and took her 2min to get it emailed to me. Once I got to the location, the buyer gave them a check and done deal. Thank you guys! Everybody was super friendly!

The online site needs a lot of work. It's super slow. My account was lock and I reset the password 3 times and still can't log in. Called the bank 6 times but still the same problem. Because my account is lock I can't make payments besides over the phone and on top of that I get charged additional $10 for over the phone payments.

This location is horrible, they treat account holders like criminals. I went in to make a deposit and upon walking in was berated by a security guard. He continued to harass me for over a minute. Simply because I was wearing a hoodie when it's -15 degrees outside. Demanding I remove my hat and hoodie for entrance into the lobby. I grew agitated and told him to leave me alone. Which he returned with trying to put his hands on me. I had been respectful and nice until this point. It was then that I loudly advised him to back off and not to touch me. At that time I was told I had to leave.I left and went to the Eagan location where I was treated a lot better. STAY AWAY FROM THE ROSEVILLE LOCATION! Rude and discrimination!

***Managment contacted me and refunded my late fees. Polite and did what they could to help. My rate still went from under 5% to 14.99%.The payment processing is still a problem. They say you just can't make 2 payments on the same day, but if my scheduled Friday payment starts processing on Thursday, still cancels out the first payment, even if made a day ahead. Never dealt with this before.***My experience with a Genisys credit card? A horrible payment system. They don't process payments like other credit unions I have done business with. You can't set up a 1 time payment if you have a recurring payment in place, without changing the recurring to a single payment, and then change it back to a recurring payment. They have a cutoff time on Friday, and any payments placed after that are dated to the next business day. I made my first payment, and then set up a recurring payment. I did not know at the time that the last set payment cancelled out my first payment, so I did not have enough money to cover the full amount due. ***This will not be in your account until after the billing cycle for the current month is up.*** I spoke to customer service over the phone, and I was never told this. They said they would put a note in my account to explain the issue. I checked several times to ensure my payment was processing correctly every Friday. At the end of the next billing cycle, I had a 25.00 late fee charge. Called customer service again, and was told that the issues with my first payment were carrying over. My account never showed this Very disapointed in this companies lack of transparency

I’ve been a member for about a year now. During that time I’ve maintained a checking account and auto loan. They beat my dealer rate by 4% which was awesome. The few times I’ve had to go into the physical Roseville branch I’ve had a good experience. Would definitely recommend to those looking to join a credit union!

I have recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Daja W. from the Roseville branch when I was trying to purchase a new car. Not only did I have so many questions that she answered back over email (my preferred communication choice) almost immediately. She also checked in on me the days I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I truly felt that she went above and beyond to recognize the stress I was under while continuing to offer the guidance I needed. I have been with Genisys for over 10 years now. I have always been happy with what I have done but my interactions with Daja have really made me feel even more grateful to work with them.
