Warranty’s are worthless, can’t exchange for product I PAID for already. Why GameStop is dying.
Went to different store and they honored the warranty no problem I guess this just this GameStop sucks.?

I don't frequent GameStop much anymore but, when I did, the couple of times I stopped at this location really turned me off. Things may be different now, IDK. The first example that comes to mind, I stopped in to pick up a copy of Destiny. It had been out a couple years, I think, at that point but I wanted to finally check it out. When I brought it up to the cashier, he made some weird, loud point of asking if I was aware that the game was a couple years old and there may not be players online to play with anymore. Just really odd, aggressive behavior towards a paying customer. Brought the game home and played it without any issues (so I'm not sure what he was going on about). So, note to the store, maybe don't carry an old game if you're going to be yelling at your customers for buying it. The second example, I brought a few old consoles there to trade-in. Glancing at the consoles, the cashier immediately informed me that I wouldn't be able to trade one of them in because it was the same model as one of the other consoles (presumably because it was also black). I informed her that it was actually a different model, after which she relented. (Apparently, you can't trade-in multiples of the same model in one day.) It's been several years since either incident so hopefully this location got its stuff together but it didn't leave a good impression. I'm not sure what type of customers they were used to dealing with but it's not like I came in looking like some hooligan looking to pull a fast one on them. Anyway, your mileage may vary.

I like to try to visit different locations. They all have different things. This particular location is good. Hit or miss. Mostly miss but still ok.

"Oh, it's not a game, it's just a display case. We don't actually have it." I'm sorry, a what? Display case? So, you have something that looks exactly like a game, but it isn't. So, why is it on the shelfs? More importantly, why were there TWO of them on the shelves? Also, they don't answer the phone with full staff and empty store. Could've saved me a trip.

My wife and I went into buy a game or two. A customer came in and asked to return a headset that an employee told him would work. The manager refused the return even though his employee told the customer it would work. Lost us as customers too.

I bought a controller that is not compatible with my computer and now they will not let me do a simple return. A 2nd coustmer decides to get involved after about to leave disgruntled. However the coustmer response is that he has family who works there and he kept following me.I called out to the manager to call the cops. The short brown hair manager just watched and did nothing while the coustmer was going to attack me.. they will just sit back and watch.
