Got a gift for Christmas only had 30 days to return it the person bought it the end of November. It’s too big they wouldn’t let me exchange it either . They should give you at least 30 days after Christmas. Like at least January 25th Since I didn’t get it until Christmas Day never heard of something so stupid. And they said they changed their policy January 1st.I will never shop there ever again. Shame on them.

Service was awful. Young girl with brown hair had no clue what she was doing. It took her around 10 mins to ring me up and she was constantly re-ringing/deleting things. I went through the receipts and she messed up several items. Ended up walking out of the store after shopping there for over an hour. I am a loyal express shopper, but I will never shop at this location again.

Update: the response below this review is lying. I was never contacted by Express before they responded and I was never given contact info for anyone or anything. This is fictitious. I don't know if they're confusing me with someone else or are trying to hide something.Got a suit and some shirts, tried it on in the cramped dressing room, and I thought it fit reasonably well, went home, removed the tags, wore it to an event, realized the jacket rides up at the shoulders and constricts the arms any time I sit down. Went to return it only 2 days post purchase, only to then be told that you can't return or exchange things with the tags off. The associate was kind, but firm that nothing could be done. And even though I like their designs, I'd never recommend buying anything here again.I expect a place with such retail margins to have a fairly flexible return policy which in turn generates loyalty. There are plenty of other clothing retailers worth buying from, Express is not one of them.

I just returned a dress I purchased online and was blown away by how kind the sales associate was. The store was also extremely clean and organized and had the most beautiful new clothes for fall. I typically only shop online but when I have more time I will definitely return to this location!

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a store. I am an express credit card holder and shop here often. I live about an hour and a half away from the store and came into town so I wanted to make some returns. When I got to the front, the woman helping me said with the worst attitude, “you know you can just do this online right?” While she started helping me, she asked another co worker to help the customer behind me. That employee gave her the same attitude and said “in the future ask someone else as I should be the last resort”. As mentioned earlier, I have an express CC so I have all of my receipts and order numbers and confirmations on my phone through the app. They refused to look at any of it and said they could not help me because they could not find my order through my phone number or a barcode. The manager gave me the same attitude and refused to help me, then told me I can call customer service if I am that serious about my return. I will be discontinuing my CC and never shopping here again!

I visited this Express location over the weekend and it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location, and I’ve been visiting this mall for 15 years. The staff made the experience terrible. At one point one staff member refused to open fitting rooms for a line that was wrapped around the store. After I asked if they would consider opening more, he said, “No, we aren’t doing that, it’s covid”. Which makes no sense considering the other fitting rooms were open? Then, he proceeded to talk into his mic and told the other staff, “don’t open fitting rooms for her”. I was shocked how blatantly rude he was. I didn’t get his name because they don’t wear name tags unfortunately. If you want assistance in the store, go to another location, they are not happy to help here.

I’m writing to EXPRESS my disappointment with the Manager Andrea, at the Rosedale, MN (Store #58). I called on Sunday and asked them to put twoBlazers on hold for me. They agreed to do so until Tuesday evening.I asked what time they closed and I was told 8pm. I arrived at 7pm just as they were closing. Andrea had the gate halfway down and there was a customer still at the register.I could hear the sales associate and customer talking and could tell that they were completing a transaction. I asked her if I could come in to return two pair of pants and also pick up my items in which I had on hold? She informed me that she couldn’t let me in because “the registers were closed and also because they had a “minor” working in the store”. I went on to ask that she put her name and number on a piece of paper. She then started spelling her name as if I did not know how to spell Andrea. While we were talking the customer walked out.
