“Decent selection, I try to stop by every other week. They will have some rare bottles behind the counter, some with high markups, think half way between online retailer and what you might pay on the local secondary. But I don't begrudge them making money, and they do off me from time to time. Though the last time I bought a very expensive bottle the cashier asked me if I came just for that bottle, which was odd given how often I'm there. And you get a free pizza if you spend more than $50...”
“This is the best bottle shop in the Rsmt area. Widest selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They recently updated, reorganized and added more craft beer (within the last 2 years). Do they have EVERYTHING? No. But they have a surprising selection of hard-ish to find bottles and some of the best local flavors without having too many IPAs that go out of date too quickly.
What could make this place better? Staff. They're not "bad" in my experience but they are "older" and there just aren't enough people working here when they're busy. If Cub had one more person helping customers during peak hours, this would be a great little store.
Bottom line: If you haven't been here in a few years, give them another try.”
“Hands down one of the best liquor stores in the area. My husband and I love craft beers, and they have a MASSIVE selection, plus, they offer beer and wine discount clubs, too, for the frequent buyers.”
