This is the best bottle shop in the Rsmt area. Widest selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They recently updated, reorganized and added more craft beer (within the last 2 years). Do they have EVERYTHING? No. But they have a surprising selection of hard-ish to find bottles and some of the best local flavors without having too many IPAs that go out of date too quickly.
What could make this place better? Staff. They're not "bad" in my experience but they are "older" and there just aren't enough people working here when they're busy. If Cub had one more person helping customers during peak hours, this would be a great little store.
Bottom line: If you haven't been here in a few years, give them another try.

I shopped at Cub Wine & Spirits this Sunday morning, 17 Mar 24, in Rosemount. I shop there every couple of weeks or so and it is usually a pleasant experience. However, this morning the lady helping me seemed confused about retrieving my birthday information from my Active Duty Military ID card; that is the same card I used during previous visits, and for every identification purpose other than driving related activities for over the last 30 years. I overheard her even make a point to ask the next customer for their State ID, which I felt was inappropriate and a possible attempt to make fun of me as though I did something wrong. I suggest retraining the staff become familiar with other forms of identification besides just a drivers license, especially federal or national identifications, which are far more strinent than a state driver's license. Hence, is why we are shifting to Real IDs. I also recommend to reemphasis the staff treat all customers with dignity and respect.

Friendly staff and a large selection of wine. I would recommend stopping in there if you are looking for wine at a reasonable price.

Excellent variety of liquor and beer. Was missing some stuff here or there but others are not that far from this one. The parking lot is really easy to get into and really easy to get out of. Never overcrowded. Always find great help here.
