I normally have a great experience at any of the Harbor Freight stores I go to, however this was not the case at this location. This took place on 10/9/24 at approxamitely 7pm. I purchased some bolt cutters and tin snips as I am doing some work on a chain link fence. I greeted the cashier "Hi, how's it going" and didn't get a response back. After he was done ringing me up he said "Good luck breaking into whatever you're breaking into" in a very rude manner. I was taken back by that statement, being that I'm a minority, but I held my tongue and walked out the store. When I got home, I told my wife who was furious. She called the store and asked for the supervisor. Eli (the supervisor) answered and was very sorry for the situation and provided us with the employee's name (Kevin V.) and contact info for the corporate office...I hope the other customers walking in have a better experience than I had.

I went in with a list for starting a new business, and an associate went through the store with me filling my cart. He also heard an offhand comment I made to my husband and found a fitting for the compressor that I needed but didn't have on the list. When I got to the register, the cashier found all sorts of coupons to use on what I had in my cart! HF is my place from now on.
