Getting older, my hubby and are fully aware that a good night's sleep is crucial for our health. Prioritizing adequate sleep is vital for our overall well-being and quality of life. When we got our sleep number bed we noticed such a big difference in how much better we felt. The fact that our bed adjusts to my pressure points is wonderful. I love that sleep technology has gotten so advanced. We spend a third of our lives in bed, which is crazy to think about. I'd invest in the same one again and again. We are soooo happy with ours!!!

While they have a lot of great bed options- there are a lot of things I dislike about the overall concept of sleep number. They will charge you for every little thing. Deliver $250, remove old mattress $60, each remote $50 /$100 pair, mattress pad $250 ?, then there is the bed. Want the adjustable head- $1,000 extra. Want adjustable feet, $1,000 more. Wanted heated feet, $1,000 more. It’s unreal. The basic bed is your best deal. Not the comfort bed with heat/cooling but the more basic bed 2-7. We wanted the 5. You will still have to pay for Frame, remotes, mattress pad, bed, delivery etc…..and another $250 if for some reason it’s not what you want. Oh, but the frame can’t be returned, or the mattress pad. They have lots of fine print to read! But technically can try the bed for up to 30 days.I worry about the privacy. With all the information they are collecting each night, it seems like a big violation of my privacy. I read one customer tried to turn off some of the functions and the bed wouldn’t work after that. The warranty is only for the first year too, where similar beds give 10 years or more. It’s prorated after the first year. The positives is that they are comfortable beds to lay on. My sleep number was super close to my husbands. So it didn’t make sense for us to get one in the end, but if one person likes a firm bed and the other a soft bed, this could be the best option for you.The staff was helpful in the store and knowledgeable about their product. I did find a lot of double talk, which didn’t set well with me. Example. I was told how it can detect your heart rate, if you hit REM sleep, how long you sleep each night, how much you move, if you snore(so it listens) and how long snoring lasts, even your temperature. it was a long list. The Sleep Number Company doesn’t sell that information…..right? ?…. So when I spoke about privacy concerns later, I’m told it only collects your height, weight & birthdate. But you were just showing me all the date it collects about my sleep? Which is it? In the end, we felt lied to and we walked. It’s likely an okay bed, as long as you don’t have mechanical issues and your don’t care if your information is shared. Price for the base bed is comparable to other beds. They just charge you for every additional items. Even a remote that you expect comes with an adjustable bed- now you pay for.

Their delivery fee is $250. That’s 10% of the mattress I was going to purchase. And if it doesn’t work out they charge another $250. They don’t waive this delivery either, I tried. Instead they try to convince you why $250 is worth it, and if that doesn’t work they try to convince you to finance. Because financing makes that delivery fee go away… I do NOT recommend. You’re potentially out $500 for literally nothing.

I stopped in on a Thursday evening. I'm not sure of the time, but I went in because of the lit up sign that said OPEN. The only attendant I saw was busy at the desk doing something, and I was ignored. I heard what may have been the sound of change falling in a register drawer, so it could have been closing time. I would not have been opposed to a return trip if I would have been informed he was closing, but the only time the attendant spoke was to say, "Have a nice night." As I was leaving. Don't worry, I won't go by the OPEN sign again. I won't buy a Sleep Number bed. A trip to HOM furniture solved my problem. They were much more courteous and helpful. Apparently, Sleep number is doing well enough they didn't need my business.

Great experience in the store but not with the delivery. My new bed is supposed to be delivered tomorrow (12/22) but I just got a call that it's delayed due to weather, no big deal, that happens. The issue is when they tell me everyone is getting pushed back in order but that my new date is 1/13. How does tomorrow's delivery get pushed back 22 days but everyone's orders are being pushed back in order?I asked the lady who called to give me the bad news this question and she just told me it's due to the weather and holidays. Very disappointed with Sleep Number right now.

Mitch was fantastic. He treated us with dignity even though we had walked in like rag dolls on the way home from quite the memorial weekend road trip. And we bought a mattress without pressures and confidence that we can change our mind on our pillows if we needed and even showed the savings I could get from working in a medical facility.

Yes, 3 stars, but not why you would think...Beds are great... long term, not so much.We have had our bed for about 18 years. The Sleep Number beds are great while they work.Like all products they are being continuously modified and improved.Customer service is great and very accommodating. We had a few minor issues initially, boom, no problem, fixed. At 8 years the remote that rarely gets touched mysteriously died. We got a different remote than original that mostly worked. Then at 18 years the pump died. The whole pump system has changed and we've been without it for 3 months so far. They are very friendly but I think behind the scene they are trying to find a refurbished pump to replace it. Only time will tell.I suppose this is an issue with anything technical that has a long warranty.Like I said, great bed, just be aware as the life gets longer, repairs may be problematic.

As a chiropractor I frequently send my patients in to see both Tyler Dean Hahn, and Jeff Castrovinci. A good night sleep is when the body does all its healing. Thanks guys for taking care of my clients.

UPDATE 11/29/2021 - Bed was delivered this past weekend, great service. Very efficient. So far two very comfortable night's sleep and less 'old person' aches. Even got a follow-up message from Jeff, the Rochester store manager asking how the installation went, how was the first night and to get in touch with any issues or questions.Spent the whole day testing and researching beds in Rochester. We figured this would be the most expensive option and so left it until last, just in case we ran out of time. Great experience with knowledgeable staff (Jeff) who, despite it getting close to closing time, was in no rush to shove us out. Explained all the options and asked us to choose based on our price point. Turned out to be among the cheapest option for features at least equal to other bed options we saw. Recommend visiting here. Glad we called in.

Tyler reached out to us and let us know that we had a discount that we didn't even know about! He sold us our i8 bed in 2019 and is still helping us out 2 years later. Absolutely amazing customer service! If I could give more stars I would!
