He sold me a car that has some type of “software” installed that he did not tell me about that does not allow the vehicle to go highway speeds. I’m lucky if the engine will accelerate past 65… the only way to reprogram it is with an actual Ford dealership program key and then you need to have them disengage the software so it would cost me several hundred extra dollars in addition because I have to buy a new key and fob and then pay for them to uninstall the speed limit on the engine . When I complained he offered no warranty no exchange even within 24 hours he said it is sold as is. Told him he needs to legally disclose issues like that before you can sell a car. Brake lights also don’t work another safety thing law says they should have fixed up they refused too.
Also along the wall, he had a bunch of homemade printed political posters across the office and quite a few of them were some pretty drastic messages
I did submit a complaint to the Minnesota attorney general

Gary is an honest businessman that treats people really well. I was very happy with our experience. If anyone is in the market for a used car, I definitely would recommend going here because you’ll be treated right and the prices are very reasonable.

Honestly, they aren’t that bad. Yes, it is mostly used cars and most will have their own faults. Do your research and make sure to closely examine the vehicles you are interested in purchasing.
This is a mom and pops type of business. The owner’s son who showed my car to me wasn’t pushy and I appreciated it. But, there is a few things I was worried about. When I arrived they could not find the keys to the vehicle I was interested in, so they had to remake new ones. Regardless, I loved the vehicle and I did purchase it. About a month later or less, the cat converter went out. I got it replaced for a pretty penny. Another month and a half later my ABS break system went out which cost me another pretty penny. I am not going to be a frustrated customer and claim they sell lemon cars. My two faults were internal - no one can really predict those going bad at the time they did. Everything else on the car seems fine and decent quality. Do your research, examine your potential purchase closely - and make sure you can afford the ownership of that said used vehicle.
I do not regret my purchase.
