I live across the street and they have been so helpful in my van maintenance.. They came and jumpstarted my battery free of charge. They replaced a hose for much less than any other garage in the area. They gave an upfront bid and stuck to it. They are courteous and honest. I am on a fixed income and they are affordable and considerate in payment options. I've had several jobs done by them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

These guys are incredibly honest and kind and I completely trust them to work on my Toyota! They even go the extra mile and will give you a ride home when you drop your car off or need to pick it up! Highly recommended!

Just wanted to send a big thank you to Nigel and his crew. All the guys are dedicated, polite, funny and knowledgeable. A little over a month ago, my battery gave up the ghost while I was out grocery shopping. Northgate was still open and when I called, someone came out to the HyVee parking lot to jumpstart my car!! I made it back to the shop, where the replaced the very old battery with a new one. Many thanks again for being great guys!!

By far the nicest people I have ever met! Nigel and his staff are amazing and really put the time and effort in for their clients.
As a younger woman I often feel taken advantage of by auto repair shops. Northgate Imports made me feel at ease and gave me all of the information I needed and then some about my car.
They are not only nice but also VERY REASONABLY PRICED, are AMAZING AT WHAT THEY DO, efficient, and overall just an awesome FAMILY OWNED business that really cares about their craft and clients.
Thank you so much!!! I will definitely always go to Northgate Imports from now on.

I have a 2011 BMW X5 engine replace from this shop. The owner when start was very nice , acting like he willing to help in everything. How ever, when the engine has been replaced, my brother drove car to Seattle, then we notice lifting noises sound in engine. Because the distance we cant bring the car back, but when we bring the car in to other auto repair shop, the mechanic told us there is only 5 quarts of oil in engine ( should be 9 quarts ) and there was several parts not installed back in to car like intake hose, right upper sway bar, and multiple parts didnt installed back in to car. It was a loudsy gob. When I come to talk to the owner., he said vecause I has car looked by other mechanic, his staff do what it was! That was unacceptable reaponse, i did pay for a full work on engine replaced. I do have pictures before and after done. Inspect repkrt from trustworthy dealer, recording conversation if any one want the proof, the truth then contact me . I will file a complaint to BBB and Automotive Association. I was paid what he asking for but this is a loudsy unacceptable job. I even gave him extra $100 for the gasket he said installed but turn out I was cheat- there was no coolant gasket installed. Everyone who want car done here beware , check all orderd part billing to make sure he purchased part and take old part to make sure part replacedAnd yeah, the SUV was brought in BMW dealer to inspected- not a regular garage or 2-3 place like they make up story to covered for the fault. I want to ask any one of you want to bring a car to have engine replaced.,paid almost 9k then they send it to you with incomplete parts installed? Even the oil only 5 quarts it cause the lifting noise because not enought oil . The loudsy job was cause all problems later. They said parts was not in the truck- it a big lie - I DO HAVE ALL PICTURES BEFORE AND AFTER-, also picture of parts they didnt instlled they throwed all parts to the back of the BMW, why didnt they complete installed all part to engines? I wont trust them any more. Instead for admit the loudsy job, the owner challenge me with attitude. This not how you do business.. and dont talked about know me for many years, I didnt have car done with them for long time since all my repaired was handled by Diercks Brothers in Byron,, it was a mistake when try them while Diercks Brother was too busy cant help me and I need car done asap.
