I have been an H&R block customer for 20+ years.Last year when my wife and I filed through H&R, our taxes took twice as long as they said. Then we find out they were rejected by the IRS because someone tried to commit fraud in her name and file an erroneous tax return. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to offer any assistance or point us in the right direction.

Went in to get a copy of my w2 the taxes I filled a year ago. Was told they don't have access and that it's physically at another store and he could get me a copy in 2 months. Ummm..... what about the computer you have in front of you??? I guess you don't even need to graduate elementary school to work here. This is place is a joke how it's managed and not to mention how much they charge you. How is this even still a business in this day and age.

If you are looking for help, the online mode is horrible.I used to file my taxes with H&R block. This year (2022) the professional that assisted me left the company and I have been trying to have my taxes filed since 02/02/2022 and it has been a horror show. The first video appointment the person did not show up. Then I started talking on the portal and no one replied. The app doesn't work, people send me multiple directions. Now it is the last week for filing taxes and I am unassisted and the person that I have been talking on the portal simply does not reply, probably he is not even receiving the message because of this mess. I tried to call and H&R Block Assistant said the person is busy until the day after Tax day.That was really disappointing. Especially when you start attempting over two months before, and you trust the office and in the end you are left high and dry.

Disappointing! We spent a decent fee for one of their tax specialists to complete our taxes. We also spent 2 hours going over our documents with the specialist. Two years later we received a fee from the IRS stating we owe $2000. H &R had made a huge error in filing our taxes. When we asked for some compensation, they gave us the minimum amount possible because we had not purchased the “piece of mind” package. We would have been better off filing on our own & would have done a better job. Save yourself the money and hastle and find a local, certified CPA.

We had Mei. She was awesome. Explained everything in great detail and showed us things we had never thought of. She was fast and wanted to make sure we got the most out of our tax situation. Will definately be back year after year. Prices seem a bit high but all the same, I trust the professional team at HandR Block.

Online it says that the office is open from 2pm-6pm. I show up at 4:30pm only to see a sign on the door that they are only open from 12pm-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This kind of messed up our afternoon since we made a special trip to this office because the online schedule said it was open from 2pm-6pm.

When I requested a copy of my tax returns they wanted me to pay 25$ when I said "I spoke to someone that it would be waived because I wasnt given them due to covid nor can I access them online" the woman asked, WHAT DAY WAS THAT? When I was trying to think I said "Friday?' and she immediately responded OK WELL WE ARE CLOSED FRIDAY SO UNLESS IT WAS SOME OTHER MAGICAL PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE IT WASNT HERE. I remember what she said because it so fricken weird!Like I'm sorry it I messed up the day but it was that place. I made a call July 29th and can prove it.I am so upset. I will never go back. That was so rude and unprofessional. I already pay you what 90$ for a service? Just to get talked to like this?! No good bye. Learn to speak to people.FINALLY GET TO MY CAR AND ITS MY 2019 RETURNS NOT MY 2020 ONES?!??!
