“I enjoy shopping here when I’m not in a rush and not looking for something specific. It can get crowded and feel cramped with narrow aisles. Definitely not ideal for pushing around a stroller or their shopping carts. However there can be some lovely home decor items and lots of fru fru scented candles and knickknacks.”

“Thank you Thank You THANK YOU to the gals at the Macy's perfume counter kind of in the middle towards the men's clothing section today! I set my phone down and forgot it, they held on to it until I turned around and drove back for it! Especially thank you to the gal who gave me a hug when I burst into relieved tears when she handed it to me ???”

“This store has quite a bit more merchandise on hand than the Mankato store. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection and availability of sizes. We were a little put off by the busy check out line, but it moved very quickly and efficiently! Much nicer than the past when you had to walk around the store searching for a manned checkout station.”

“The store is easy to get into & around in even for wheelchairs. They store & bathrooms were clean. The shelves & racks were not over stocked so it was easy to find what I needed w/out fighting other merchandise.”

“Updated rating: Although so many self checkouts is still an inconvenience, it has gotten considerably better. Unfair to leave at low rating as the store itself is still a great place to get what you need.Editing rating due to new self checkout. All kinds of issues, long lines and not a single worker seemed to be trained to help. Kept getting same response, “I don’t know what to do”. With only one register open, it was a mess to say the least.”

“My mom and I had the most helpful and friendly experience I've ever had at Macy's, all thanks to a lovely woman named Michelle who was working near the east entrance. She was incredibly informative and helpful, we chatted while she rang us up and I want to thank her for all of her kind assistance. When my mom wanted to order a pair of pants online, Michelle found out there was one pair in the store and set off to find them. Michelle is a shining example of what 5 star service is. Thank you so much, Michelle, you made our day!”

“This is my favorite Target location. The staff are amazing, willing to go the extra mile both for customers and each other. Their store is always kept clean and welcoming. I hate shopping, with one single exception. The north side Target in Rochester, MN!”

“Reasonable prices and I was so impressed by the commitment of these employees. My car was leaking oil and they went above and beyond to find out what the problem was. I really appreciated that they showed me what was wrong and educated me. As a woman, it can be intimidating going into auto shops, but I felt so comfortable here. Tyler and Brennan are awesome! Always going here from now on.”

“I've always loved Target and the South location is great. The store is kept clean and tidy (aside from the dressing rooms, which usually need clearing out), and the employees are always helpful and on task.”

“Another store where workers are friendly. Maybe I need to get out of the cities more. I just looked around. There was a clearance display that I assume turned and I knocked some crap off of it. The guy just laughed and said it happens all the time. I found some cute socks and a couple of stickers. Stuff I didn't really need. Probably will stop again. Cute Minnesota souvenirs.”

“We had bought a sprayer for a UTV and the pump went bad. They called the company and ordered a pump for us and took care of the warranty. They were very good to work with. Not sure how to spell his name correctly but I will try to get close- Joshiah? Sorry if I butchered it. He was very helpful. Thank you again.”

“I remember when this Super Target first opened. I lived in Rochester and it was exciting that the city was going to get its first Target store, let alone a Super one (say Target in French to make it sound fancy). It has been well over a decade since I last visited it. I broke that streak recently when I returned to my old neighbourhood. I did a pitstop here from Eden Prairie. I then did a quick browse around the store. This store still has a Starbucks, which is likely where my love for the cafe started. A number of us back in the day (we were coincidentally all Canadians living here, employed by the same company) would often come here to get a drink and browse around Target afterwards. The women's washroom was clean. I don't recall ever using it before, so that was cool. The clothing section still makes me happy. It's bright and organized well. I did a brief tour of the produce section. It still looks the same as I had remembered it. Veggies look fresh. Fruits look yummy. No complaints on my end! The checkout area seems to have grown. I could be wrong. I don't remember so many cashiers! It was nice to reminisce. Rochester now has two Target stores. This one is in the north part of the city, which is five minutes away from where I used to live. (13)”

“I was helped at the jewelry counter by a shift lead named Ashley. Not only did she go ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me select the perfect watch but, she held onto the watch for me while I continued shopping. After I was ready to purchase the watch, she helped me take out a few links to make sure it fit me. She spent extra time with me helping me with sizing, doing everything in her power to help me with the perfect fit. Her customer service, attention to detail, and willingness to be so helpful is unmatched. Thank you so much to the blue haired Ashley for helping me find the best watch and thank you for getting it the right size for me.”
