Bear Creek is a great place for dogs to stay! They get plenty of play time. Our sweet corgi always comes home tired from all the excitement (photo attached). Tim, the owner, just loves dogs! He knows all their names and knows which dogs play well together.A few quick notes: this is a bit of an old school business - cash or check only. Reservations are made in person or by phone and written in a paper calendar. One small quibble - we don't have Facebook (primary contact method) and it can occasionally be difficult to get connected on the phone. For us, knowing that the owner and employees love dogsmakes all the difference.

I was coming to Rochester for some appointments at Mayo Clinic and stressing out because I had to travel with my dog because I didn't have anyone to watch her in my small town. I booked pet friendly hotel rooms but I couldn't leave my dog in the hotel without being there so I called a local doggy daycare but there and they were full and suggested bear creek. I am so glad because BCK is wonderful! They agreed to watch my pup and quoted a minimal fee for the few hours I needed. They ended up not even charging me! So grateful to have found this place and it will be the first place I call if I'm back for more visits!When I picked her up she clearly was comfortable with the other dogs and staff. Thankss so much!

Best kennel in town. We love this place. Dogs get to just run around and be dogs. No paying extra if you want an extra 30 minutes of them being outside of a concrete box. Staff clearly love the dogs.

Great prices and availability. My pup was happy when we picked him up. He smelled great too, they may have given him a bath!

We traveled 10 hours, so my old dog was pretty weak and tired from riding in the car. I had an early appointment, so I needed somewhere she would be safe and could relax and be attended to. We chose Bear Creek and Lucky was having a difficult time walking when she went in, but when I picked her up the next day, she had regained the pep in her step and was refreshed and ready for another long ride home. Thanks so much for caring for Lucky. I can tell when she likes someone, and she enjoyed her stay.

Took our dog to Bear Creek Kennels for her first over night boarding. The kennel facility and kennels are very clean. The staff are great and really show they care about your dog. Very affordable pricing. Our dog was relaxed when we arrived the next morning to pick her up. All good. Very pleased and will return to this business in the future.

We needed daycare for our 11 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel while we had appointments at the Mayo Clinic. She had never been to daycare. We were nervous to leave her the first day. We took her the next day and she was so excited to get out of the car to go play and be a dog. Tim knows all the dogs by name and he and his staff treat them all with love and care. Thank you!!
