A few weeks ago I need a rental after one of my vehicles was out of commission and had plans to leave town. I had also misplaced my credit card and was going to have my son reserve with his debit card. When we got to Avis, Wayne was about to close down for the night but was more than willing to rent to us. We went to reserve the car and my son misplaced his drivers license ( yes the apples doesn’t fall far from the tree). Wayne suggested trying to get a replacement at the dmv so we ran there got the necessary paperwork and came back. By this time it was past closing and Wayne was well in his rights to say sorry folks but he rented and was incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you need a vehicle, please seek out Avis and Wayne at their Rochester frontage road location. Best customer service I have had in all my experience with car rentals.

I want to compliment and thank Kristen and Wayne at the RST branch of Avis. They went above and beyond to make my life a ton easier by making sure that I could access my rental car even though my plane was delayed. They are fantastic people and I am so thankful that I used Avis on my trip to Rochester. Thank you very much Kristen and Wayne!!!

I went to RST location to drop off my rental car around 9:10 in the morningI didn’t find anyone at the desk and there was a paper with phone number to call for assistanceI called the phone and asked her to assist to drop off my car , she advised me to fill out the form and leave it at desk , i asked her to come , if possible, because I preferred to work with person face to face but she was very aggressive. At the end she came and she was so rude, aggressive because I forced her to come in person, she introduced herself as a manager of the the place and she was so upset of coming to help a costumer??I apologized to her because i didn’t want to go through arguments with her and she did finish all the paperworkI really shocked about her way to work with costumers, is it my mistake to ask to talk with her? I came through the regular business hoursI also would like to leave strong positive feedback to the person that helped me during the pick up, she was great, professional and very helpfulThanks

Dropped car off at Detroit Airport and they said they would send a recipt to my email which normally happens within 20 minutes. I didnt get until one full day and i was charged for the additional day. I called customer service and was on hold for 15 minutes and all a sudden the call was dropped. I never was able to get this resolved

Bad customer experience. Reserved a car and got confirmation email. Got to the airport and they told me that I would need to wait at least 1 hr because the car is dirty.Not only that, the main front desk lady also scolded me, the customer, for booking it last minute.There were two employees there and the one in charge insisted that the other stayed to learn the program whereas it would have taken 15 min to clean.Clearly customer has the last priority.

*Big Ripoff *Bad customer serviceI have rented a minivan for a day to drop my daughter off at Des Moines both ways approx. 450 miles they said my estimated charges would be 130$ but I was charged 235.36$ which is a big ripoff since I drove more than 150 miles per day they have charged me 25 cents per mile which they should have told me about 150 miles per day limit at the the time of pick-up. . When I went to pick-up the car at the airport there was nobody at the desk and I had to wait for 15 mins. There is no notice or sticky saying she or he is out and will be back in 15 mins. When I called the number which was hanging on door and wasn’t visible, the lady responded angrily “sir I have been waiting for you and you are late” which was kind of rude. When I called the number this morning after dropping the car off she didn’t pick-up. I have called her to find out why I have been charged 235.36$. She has finally responded and told me “Sir this is my cell phone number call the office phone number”. I have asked her what’s the office phone number she said go check your rental agreement. She was kind of bossy and asking me did you return the car on-time? Wouldn’t it be her responsibility to check? I have picked up the car at 9:45 am and returned at 8:55 am. When I called the customer service they said since you went over 150 miles per day you were charged 25 cents per mile and I said why didn’t you tell me at the time of picking up the car all he said that was in the rental agreement. It would have been nice if they informed me of the charging policy instead of telling me a bunch of irrelevant information. Do you think that is good customer service? I don’t recommend renting from these agencies. 0/10!

My last rental in Rochester was fine, great airport worker and service. My issue is with your false advertisement. You sent me a 35% off coupon, but you only give me a 15% discount when trying to book online. Hertz has never falsely advertised to get repeat business. Their customer retention model is excellent customer service, and truth in advertising. You have a great product and people in the field, but your marketing could use some integrity. This is why I am a President Circle member with Hertz.....

Every time we rent a car, everyone working has been so helpful and seems happy to be working/helping out the customers. The prices are great, the vehicles are always in great shape. Just an overall great experience every time we rent!

Was unable to use my debit card to pay for my rental which was frustrating, but the rental Associate that was assisting me with my pick up was very nice and helpful. In the end he worked everything out so I was able to pick up the rental, all thanks to him. Great service.

Despite my making the reservation 8 days in advance, when I came to pick up the car they had one (1) car which I was unfamiliar with but had no choice. Rushed through check-out, explained nothing about operating the car - how to interpret gas gauge, set parking brake, etc. Charged almost $100 in fees and taxes over the base rate of $212.90. Note of caution - they charge $9.99 per gallon in gas. I had filled up the tank, drove 11 miles to the airport (not a lot of options at 4:30am), and they somehow tack on $16 for gas. Guess their cars get awful mileage. Be forwarned.

This is my experience!!!My agreement was $219.91, however I was charged $275& at RST the agent was unable to help me & had waste 25 minutes to request a refund. Hope I get it.

Had a great experience renting a minivan for a few days. The local Rochester staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the final price was consistent with my original quote. I'd happily come back!
