Dropped off my pickup to diagnose a steering problem and replace rear brakes. Steering issue was not resolved, but Galen did provide some insight on what I should do in the future.Brake parts were installed, but not adjusted. Galen handed me the keys after trying to set the parking brake without it working. He had to turn the vehicle off with it in gear to keep it from rolling away. After returning home I found excessive slack in the parking brake tensioning cable and removed the drums to inspect the brakes. The shoes were not making contact with the drum. After adjusting myself, the brakes were working properly. The ~$400 labor charge is a premium price for a sub-par service.This is my only experience with this shop. I chose this location based on reviews.Update: The shop refunded the entire invoiced amount. This was not the intention for the post, but it’s good to know my concerns are heard and considered. Rating has been updated to 4 starts. I’ll likely give them another shot.

My wife was driving a Suburban-load of Bot Scouts from Colorado back to central Wisconsin on a Sunday when the transmission went out. Automotive MD just happened to be close by, so she parked in in their lot and put the keys in the key drop, blind.The next week they diagnosed the problem and held the vehicle until I could transport it back to WI. The charge to diagnose was minimal, and they were understanding and accommodating about the whole situation.I can't give these guys enough stars.Service: Transmission

Galen and crew are amazing. Always have been honest. There is no overselling, thorough in explaining, and they provide options when there are some. Thank you. This is the only place I will pay to work on mine and the wife's car.
