“Great service. I had many repairs done at Turbo Tim for my truck. This time I asked for an inspection only. The report was texted to me including photos and very detailed information on what needs immediate repair and what can be done later. A paid Lyft ride would have been paid by Turbo Tim as well. “Had a new set of Tires installed and balanced. Then vehicle had problems with the tracking system software. This is due to gratuitous complexity of modern autos. A fundamental part of this is manufacturers being allowed to keep service software proprietary. There needs to be a change in law, to give owners absolute rights to this software and their designee. As is usual the vehicle dealership was not in anyway helpful, but obstructive. Anyhow the second expert Heartland called in was able to solve the problem, but for a significant fee. Due to what I suspect was the cost of his equipment and software, was likely justified. This hassle caused a delay of 24 hours to get the use of my vehicle back.
Heartland were perfect gentlemen about and as blindsided as I was by how this went down.
So beware! Getting a new set of tires is no longer a straightforward proposition with this newer generation of vehicles. And of course no warning of this in the handbook. The marketers I'm sure warned that it would have been bad for sales!”
“Labor Day Monday. Arrived at our hotel and ran out to get gas. Flying out first thing in the morning and ended up with a flat tire. Was so fortunate to find Paco. He was just closing up shop and said he would wait for me to fix the tire. Did a fantastic job and quick. Very fair prices. Wish he had his business closer to our home, forever thankful. “I was extremely satisfied with my service today. Matt even walked outside to meet me when he saw me drive up. Came to have my Subaru Ascent TPMS light/tire pressures checked. They replaced a bad TPMS sensor for free that had been put on in Jan. Blake who did the work also told me everything they did (tire rotation too). All done in < half hour. I couldn't be happier!”

The diagnostic software they used provided a detailed report with descriptions and photos, ensuring transparency throughout the process. In the end, only an oil change, cabin, and fuel filters were needed. I left Baber Auto completely satisfied with the top-notch service and the personal touch they provided. “I brought my 2020 Terrain to Lerum because the drive shaft was making a horrible noise when I drove at highway speed. It turned out to be the hanger had been damaged, so that part, and part of the drive shaft, needed to be replaced. The work was done in less than a day, at an affordable price. We’ve been going to Lerum for over 20 years and we will continue to trust them for years to come.”

He also worked up several quotes for new tires that I will need in short order and took into account several options that I wouldn't have considered had he not suggested them. The tech that worked on my car, sorry I don't remember his name, completed the work quickly and accurately and I couldn't be happier about my experience!”
