Put in a new clutch, for a good price, and everything works perfectly. They do a courtesy check after 500 miles. Just had it checked today. Thanks!

My Prius had a noise which was noticeable when driving over 40mph and got louder when turning right. Southdale Firestone in Edina near my house misdiagnosed it as front suspension replacement $1600, which was done and the noise was still there. Next was a BP gas station shop on hamline and grand in St. Paul diagnosed it as a defective transmission and recommended replacing it with a new one. They said it has a CVT transmission and continued to tell me that cvt stood for constant velocity transmission. I don’t know too much about transmission but I do know cvt stands for continuously variable transmission. I ofcourse didn’t go with there recommendation and decided to get a diagnostic from Richfield transmission. They were upfront about there diagnostic fee and were efficient in finding the root cause. Turns out it was the right front wheel bearing. Replaced it and no more noise. Thank you Richfield transmission for doing an excellent job.

I have always have the best experience here. Just going there telling the problem or symptoms they will make sure it is in good working condition. My last visit was not too long ago I had something leaked and they check every possibilities and made sure it is all good and they endup not fixing it and didn't charge me anything. This is the shop you want to make sure to take xare of your vehicle. It is not all about money, I am very proud of them.

Hiiiiighly recommend. I'm not going anywhere else from now on. They fixed my chevy traverse and found out what was wrong with it when no one else could or would. I'm glad I found this shop. My truck wasn't running correctly and had several issues, chuck and his crew took care of it and had it back running in no time, they really know what they are doing. His prices are reasonable as well. I would strongly recommend you to use this shop to do any service on your vehicle.
