We came today to buy Kale Cakes at salad bar. First, I was waiting forever for someone to come over. Then, a guy with facial piercings came from the back room and was grabbing them with dirty gloves. I stopped him and asked him to change gloves. But changing gloves with dirty hands still makes them dirty... And instead of using spoon, he again grabbed them with his hands. It was so gross and disgusting. I could not take those cakes, and put them back on the table and left. After that, instead of apologizing, he complained to the management on me, victimizing himself and lying that I threw things at him. What a disgusting liar! (You can check camera)

They have the most organic coop in the twin cities. So many unique options: I just bought morel mushrooms from there this week. Everything from their produce to their deli is top notch quality. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Would highly recommend.

Ill never return. Was checking out around closing time in Sunday the 25th. There was a guy with a puppy hanging out by the check out lines. As I'm checking out some employee comes over from stocking shelves and starts petting the dog then asks to bag our groceries without washing his hands or using sanitizer. As soon as the cashier finishes scanning our items she turns to start petting the puppy. We pay and stand there waiting for maybe a minute or so waiting for her to finish the transaction. I see they are more focused on the dog and grab our stuff and leave. They don't mention our total before I pay and they don't offer us a recipet or even finish our transaction. As I'm walking away my girlfriend asks if our payment was processed and if we are okay to leave. Can't say if the cashier washed their hands or anything after but after seeing the employees touch a strangers dog and then try to handle people's food without making sure their hands are clean makes me certain I will never be returning.

Incredibly rude staff, I say thank you after I'm checked out and they just ignore you, why am I the customer being more polite than the staff? Seriously answer me.

The co op itself is great. However when I went in to get two iced coffees the barista was coughing a lot with no mask and had to stop 3 different times to wash their hands in between making our drinks. The drinks were also made incorrectly so the honey in them didn’t mix properly at all.If you are sick or coughing! Wear a mask or please don’t allow people to work in that condition.

Wonderful co-op where each product carried is carefully chosen so that you can shop knowing that it will be of high quality, but also very likely more local or ethically produced than alternatives. Co-ops also give back to their communities in ways that big corporate stores don't.

Lakewinds is the best! Beautiful produce, the greatest, friendliest most knowledgeable staff. Love their pre-made foods. I've been a member for many years and shop here weekly!

Lots of fresh, organic, local produce and food products, stellar body/health section, huge bulk ingredients section, decent sized parking lot, and the friendliest staff ever. They're always willing to bag groceries or help load them into the car. Really appreciate that they offer everyone the option of driving right up to the door to pick up your groceries from the cart! #Veganuary
