first time going to a burlington and i’m disgusted!!
Get some new security instead of the nasty attitude filled ones that want to block the doors 30 minutes before closing time and make rude comments towards customers. The customer service in this place is more than awful. Fix the attitudes and do better.

I think her name is Christine the manager. Came in with my two 6 month old babies and Their dad and immediately got followed around. Keep in mind we are African-American. I went straight to the baby section looking for bottles while a grown ass white man stared me and my two kids down in the corner. After he called the manager and she acted like she wanted to see the babies and she stared me down and everything I was doing. We ended up cutting our short because she approached, the father of my kids and said “ Are you almost done?” It was very uncomfortable. I will be contacting corporate. She does not need to be in charge of if she does not have common decency.

Love love love this store!!! Have so much to choose from! Everything from housewares to hygiene to makeup to shoes, clothes, furniture, house decor to snacks. They have it all! It's an overall great store to get to everything you need! So much variety!! Prices are great!

The store closes at 10pm, and MANY times the steel doors are already down/locked not allowing anyone to enter the store well before 9:30.
One evening, at 9:25 one of the security gaurds started rudely yelling at me (from quite a few aisles away) to go to the checkouts because the store was “closed”-aggressively saying he “wasnt going to tell me again”. I looked at my phone to verify the time and replied “the store doesnt close for 35 more minutes. Are you really harrassing me for shopping during normal business hours?! I’d prefer to just leave right now then”. The (large male) security gaurd then followed inches behind me the entire way out of the store, saying “yeah, get out of here-yeah, leave”. I felt VERY uncomfortable and threatened. I shouldve called the cops, but I decided not to since he didnt physically touch me.
It was completely unacceptable!

I live close to the store and it is always super busy. The workers do the best they can to keep up with the store. I highly assume because of management is why this store has a high turnover. As I’ve mentioned I live close to this location so I am in here, probably once a week and have seen many new faces. My last experience was absolutely upsetting with the store manager, Catherine. I was waiting in A very long line watching her encounter with two new black employees. This whole time I’m in line she has been rude to them. Her tone, her attitude just everything was disheartening to watch. Making comments like “That wasn’t very smart” “Idk why you would do that” “ Everyone knows to do this” And this whole time she is complaining and fussing about what they’re doing wrong. She not once offered to hop on the register to assist them with this long line. I have worked in retail and I have been a manager. The best kind of manager is giving support to your employees and instead she’s at their throats for simple mistakes. I approached one of the lawyers to ask for her name and information so that I can file a complaint. The young woman was Hesitant to give me that information and shaking her head and telling me no so I told her to grab Catherine so that I can ask Catherine herself for this information since was uncomfortable. Catherine comes up to the counter and ask me how can she help me and I just wanted to know her name in the information to complain about the way that she’s speaking to the employees. She gives me her name and then says you could’ve asked the employees for that information and when I explained to her that I tried, but I can tell that they were uncomfortable that was the first red flag for me. Its like they were terrified of losing their job. Catherine didn’t want to give me the correct information to make my complaint. She told me that the best option would be to complain to another store manager she would not give me general manager information. She would not give me a website or a hotline number. She then walked away from me and I made a comment to the young lady and just let her know that, she could do better and not allow anybody to speak to her. Catherine then gets upset that I’m standing up for these young employees because they don’t wanna stand up for themselves and she starts asking them if she was treating them bad and says out loud, we have a good relationship just not letting the employees speak for themselves . When I told her she was wrong for her actions , she then asked security to escort me out of the store. At this time I wasn’t being belligerent, I was not being dangerous to anybody, no threats were made. I was just simply making a statement and telling her that she is being very rude and disrespectful to her young employees. I guarantee they will not be there long.

This place is a disaster, and terrifying in the evening. The ONLY reason I'm giving it two stars is that they have a lot of inventory compared to some other Burlington stores I've shopped at.
The store is listed online and on the doors as closing at 10:00 PM. However, as I was walking towards the front at 9:30 PM, the security guard closed the doors with a barricade. I entered through the exit and politely inquired about the early closing time, but he offered no explanation and simply repeated that they were closed. I was confused and inquisitive, and eventually, he let me in.
I'm currently waiting in line to check out, and during this time, someone ran and pushed their way out of the store, stealing handfuls of merchandise. The presumed manager called them an as***** and is now going around yelling at everyone that the store is closed, even though it's only 9:52 PM. It’s now 10:00pm and they've sent all but one cashier away, despite a long line still in front and behind me, even with what seemed like an intense desire from the manager to get all the customers out as soon as possible. This has been a horrific night and shopping experience.
I can't wait to hopefully never return to this location ever again!

I was looking for hats it was closing time I was making my way in the line and a woman I think she is the manager She got mad at me because i was going around to get my cart and she called SECURITY So I had to go to the line full of carts I had to budge thru the crowd of people,The manager treated me a bit racist If I am being honest,She does not deserve to work there or to be a manager.
