Do not waste your time with this place. It has gone downhill with the speed of lightning! Worst customer service, rude and unfriendly employees. Very disappointing.

The hours listed say 10 am - 6 pm.The hours for DONATIONS are 10 am - 2 pm.I didn’t see this until I pulled my car up to the building, ready to drop off all the stuff I’d loaded into my car, thinking, “Yay! They’re open til 6!”Silver lining: For the next 3-4 months, I get to drive around with multiple bags of clothing as passengers until I hit that 10-2 donation window. #blessed

It's a great store with great stuff. I feel like most of their things are overpriced, still a good deal as you do find treasures :) its one of the main ones that I go to

Way too overpriced. An average clothing item here will run you about $8-$12. It’s so messed up that places that receive FREE donations feel the need to price gouge. Literally anything donated shouldn’t be more than $5. I went here a few months ago and the prices weren’t this ridiculous. Nothing like good ole capitalism. DONT DONATE YOUR CLOTHES CORPORATIONS GIVE THEM TO YOUR COMMUNITY FOR FREE !!!

This used to be a great thrift store now the shelves are empty. The whole area by the dressing rooms was empty. What happened? Was gonna donate some stuff there but donation hours are 10-2 no wonder they don’t have any stock.

I had higher expectations in terms of clothes. Overall mediocre quality and just not my style personally. Home decor and kitchenware wasn’t bad though — I got soba noodle dishes and a muffin tin.

This place used to be the place to shop daily. They had great items at low prices. But they didn't recover after Covid. Employees were rude and effortless. Choose any other location than Richfield.

I love Arc's. I shop the Bloomington & Richfield stores 3-4 times a week and am always amazed at the great things you can find.As an organization I would really take a look at having the manager Vincent as a customer-facing employee. I had an interaction yesterday that was the most condescending, pompous, and abrasive interaction I have experienced. I'm still thinking about it a day later which is why I'm posting a review. Other customers surrounding me were all flabbergasted at the way I was spoken to by a "manager". It seems based on the reviews below that this may be a common situation. I've often overheard communication from him to other customers, but this is the first time it was directed at me and it is absolutely not okay to speak to customers, or any human for that matter, in this way.

My friend just shared a similar experience with me, which compelled me to leave this review. I used to shop here once a week, sometimes more. However, now I only stop in this store MAYBE once every three months. The quality of the items has declined, but the prices have increased, sometimes by an unreasonable amount for broken, damaged, super old or clearly very worn items. Most of the employees are very pleasant, accommodating and nice. What really stopped me from coming in was the very rude and often unprofessional and unpleasant male “manager” whose name starts with V. If you shop there, you know. Let’s refer to him as “infant” because it nearly rhymes and seems appropriate. He is abrasive, arrogant, rude, feels like he has some sort of authority over you and acted (how I felt was) completely inappropriate with me. It was very obvious to me that he was following me around the store for most of the time I was there, which was confusing to me, but whatever. However, as a female, I do not appreciate him banging on my dressing room door while I’m UNDRESSED, yelling for me to get out “because they’re closing in 15 minutes.” I had been in there for 2 minutes with only three items! I also don’t appreciate that when I did come out, he was waiting there for me and immediately bombarded and accused me of stealing a shirt before I entered the dressing room and said something like, “if you’re caught again, you’ll be banned from the store.” He told me he had “video evidence,” which is an outright lie (because it doesn’t exist!)He didn’t even apologize when I put the shirt on the put-back rack that he had just accused me of stealing. I left my cart there, didn’t purchase anything and left the store in near tears with extreme anxiety. Unacceptable, disgusting behavior from a MAN who works retail towards a WOMAN and PAYING CUSTOMER who has spent hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars at your store. It’s no surprise to me overall that this store can no longer find employees to be able to stay open past 6PM.No longer choosing to give them my hard earned money is no loss to me. DO BETTER, ARC!

BEWARE WHEN SHOPPING HERE! Save yourself the ridiculousness and go to Bloomington Arc instead, where you will be treated with more respect and dignity. It's a much better/cleaner store with better variety and friendlier staff. There are a few very specific employees who are rude, are disrespectful towards and treat PAYING CUSTOMERS like trash and act like they don't want to be there. Their donations have been lacking so they put out broken/damaged/worn out items that are way overpriced. I used to shop here on a weekly basis and have spent thousands of dollars here, but now I've been banned for "stealing", which they "have proof of." You can't have proof of something that never happened, but apparently I'm not the only one they've told this lie to. Manager Vincent brought another male employee with him and randomly "snuck up" behind me while I was in an aisle. He told me I was no longer welcome there. Shocked, I told him I needed to find my husband. He proceeded to walk directly behind me to "escort me out" while I was looking for my husband and refused to back away when asked. Why did you need two MALE employees to escort out a female who wasn't causing any issues? Was it to try and intimidate me? I'm an SA survivor with diagnosed PTSD and asked him to back up or stop following me because he was making me uncomfortable, to which he rolled his eyes and refused. He has no authority and no right to make me uncomfortable by walking that close to me while my back was turned and there was no need for it. I was leaving WILLINGLY without argument. The other male employee expressed that he had no idea what was even going on. I understand this was probably not 100% V's decision, it was his ACTIONS and WORDS that i have a problem with. I've also personally witnessed him treat other customers like crap and is also allegedly this way with other female customers as well (based on what I have heard, seen and read). His behavior makes the shopping experience overall unpleasant, whether you have a direct interaction or witness an interaction. This location has gone DRASTICALLY downhill over the last 2-3 years, and honestly, after the way I was treated and know other people have been treated, I'm glad to see it. Considering reaching out to others with a similar experience to consider pursuing a lawsuit. **EDIT TO ADD** He wasn't even accusing me of stealing that day, it was "last time" I was in, which had to be at least 3 months previous. I had already been shopping 30-45 minutes before he approached me. He then tried to tell my husband "she never does it when you're with her." I NEVER shop there without him! In the five years I've shopped there, I've been alone maybe 1-2 times. They were also "too busy" to show my husband the video they supposedly had. 1. There were like 5 people max in the store 2. It's "busy" but you're all standing around chatting 3. It's "busy", but you could all go in the back to stalk me on camera to watch me NOT steal anything. 4. It's so busy, but you supposedly had enough time to search through 3 month old video? You can't show my husband "proof" BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANY! BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SHOPPING AT THIS STORE! I AM NOT THE FIRST PERSON THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO!

There was only one cashier who was so distracted and disorganized; I was second in line and I waited at least 15 minutes as she slogged through a simple single-item transaction. I was overcharged and had to firmly and repeatedly insist that it was rung incorrectly. The clerk (E**o), kept arguing that it wasn’t and, shockingly, could not figure out how to systematically check the product against the receipt to verify the error, even when I tried to help.Another clerk (V*****t) represented himself as a manager (he’s not) and was so extremely rude! I had experienced his rudeness once before when I was making a donation. The store stock was so depleted, as others have also noted. Maybe other donors have been treated rudely when donating and have not returned! This used to be a favorite place to both shop and donate. No more…I’ll never go back.

On July 31, at approx.5:30 I had my cart full of items. Unfortunately, computer was down, so they could only take cash. The sales clerk said I could have my items set aside until close of business (6pm) on Aug 1. She wrote my first name and last initial in a piece of paper. Guess what? Everything was GONE when I got in the store today at 10:20. You just lost a good customer!

I used to love this place, but not any longer There are a couple of guys that just stand around all day. I think they must be "flippers" trying to re-sell. So they literally stay there all day waiting for carts of new items to come out. It gives the place a real creepy vibe.

It would be nice if they didn’t make making a donation so difficult. 10-2… who is done with a cleaning project???? I hate goodwill but go 1/2 the time because the hours here are nonsense
