Rented a boat in Red Wing, and it was the perfect day. We spent the day on the water, ice cream and pie at Stockhom Pie and General Store. Later, we beached at Frontenac, with ribeye steaks on our portable grill. The boat was beyond what they represented. This was a $145,000 L25 Bennington tritoon, which we just "borrowed" for the day. It had a 300 hp motor, which gets you up to Lake Pepin and back without any time concerns. We borrowed a tube from a friend's cabin on Pepin (Thanks!!!), but that would be a worthwhile addition to your spend, because the kids loved it. I'm actually thinking about buying this boat because of this day on the water. I keep looking at it, and thinking I should trade in my RZR Pro XP4 up north towards the purchase of this boat. Also, and this is kind of a big thing if I ever rent again: I really liked that they didn't have "River Valley Marine Rentals" on the side of the boat. (Great River used to do that, and it was so annoying.) With RVM, it was like we owned the boat for the day, so it was like a real test drive. And that's much better marketing to the customers you're attracting. It's actually something you should use in your marketing, i.e., there are no marketing labels on our boats. But it was about the perfect day. We continue to re-watch all of the videos on Apple TV. Great memories for our four kids.

Omg, these people are the worst! Emailed about a boat for sale, no response after a week. Called and got a hold of a sales person who said he does not handle brokerage boats so we send me over to Zach. Zack didn't bother answering her phone and his voicemail is full so no luck there. I called back and a woman answer the phone said they're getting ready to close, I told her my situation and needed to ask a sales person and just a couple questions. She refused and said they were closing, I begged her to let me talk to a sales person she said no and hung up on me!!!How's this for an awful compay to deal with!!

My husband and I rented a boat through them and Summer was absolutely wonderful. She gave us local highlights to visit during our rental time, was warm and helpful, and then had ice cream treats for our dogs who came with us on the boat.

Everything was top notch from the simple boat instructions, layout of the river, and the brand new pontoon. Recommend the lilly pad and at least half day rental. Couldn’t believe how quick the afternoon went! Cruising on the river is fun as you can hit up different spots along the route. Will be coming back and recommending to friends!

River Valley was fabulous to work with. We rented a pontoon boat and it was impeccably clean and spacious. But more than that, the customer service that Summer and her team provided was incredible. We had originally rented the boat for a date earlier in the summer, but due to storms we had to essentially reschedule twice. River Valley was so accommodating of everything. We had a great time and are looking forward to using River Valley more next Summer!

Rented a boat for a day.The staff was efficient, courteous, and friendly.The boat was ready when we showed up and ran great.This is a first-class operation.
