“We had a wonderful experience with Meatheads for our wedding at Almquist Farm. They served a delicious buffet for very fair prices - I’ve had a lot of wedding food that cost twice as much and was half as good. We also got sheet cakes from them that were a hit. Overall this was a very smooth and drama-free experience, and we felt confident from start to finish that we were in good hands.”
“I just moved to Red Wing, and this is my neighborhood grocery store. It is small but has a lot packed inside. It just celebrated a century of existence. It is not the best place for bargain hunting, but you know what? They have the best selection around of local goods, everything from cheese (CannonBelles!) to produce (Lake City strawberries!) to crackers to BBQ sauces. The meat department has a great selection and a really nice butcher. Actually, everyone here has been incredibly nice. I imagine that it's the kind of place where I'll soon know the workers' names and they'll know mine.”
