I am from out of town and was visiting for my aunt's funeral when unfortunately my check engine was flashing as I was nearing Red Wing. I was 8 hours from home and it was a Saturday. It was extremely hard to find any help until thankfully there was J & R. They were the only ones that I spoke with that cared or were willing to help. Luckily I was able to find them and made it home with no issues. Thank you so much J & R!!!

They are AWESOME!!! I usually work with Bill and he is the only mechanic I will go to because he's honest and trustworthy. All you women out there know what a gold mine it is when you find a mechanic who isn't gonna gouge you! Well Bill is the one! He works to keep the costs down and does an EXCELLENT job. I have been going there for past 5 years now and have been nothing but grateful for it.I've had quotes from others and he is consistently the most economical...I have saved several hundred dollars by going there. My car is pushing 250,000 miles and runs like a top. He also doesn't charge if he doesn't do the work on it...he spent time with both my grandsons and my brothers vehicles and refused to take money for his time.He truly is a great guy and an honest person...he runs his business exactly the way I would.Also....his beautiful wife has a Thrift Store attached to the shop. She has great prices too...so check her- out! You won't be sorry.

A flat tire had our busibesson hold. So many places are closed on the weekend, but not J&R. They couldn't patch the tire, but gave us an old tire to get by so our small businesscoukd keep working this weekend. Meanwhile, their prompt and kind service gets them our business and we ordered 4 new tires from them. Plus they will aee us for other work too. You can't beat working with an honest, small business owner who values their customers!
