321 Main St, Red Wing“I bought a package of the Buckwheat pancake mix at Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery, made it the next morning for breakfast and they are great tasting pancakes. Will definitely have to try and pick up another package sometime. The only reason I'm giving them four stars instead of five is because the GMO Free label is unnecessary. There's no such thing as genetically modified Buckwheat out there but yet you slap that ridiculous sticker on there as a scare tactic for sales, so people think GMO foods are unhealthy. Without GMO's we all would be starving, being hardly anybody plants a garden, or kills their own food anymore. Great tasting product though I'll definitely pick up another package.”

160 Tyler Rd N, Red Wing“Average Aldi- rotating selection of discount goods. Plenty of options to choose from in the categories of bakery, deli, and dry, canned, and frozen food. This is always my go to place for groceries, just with the idea that it'll be mostly generic stuff for great prices. They don't always have what's needed because the stock changes throughout the year, but they certainly have good stuff. They've got some name brand stuff, just not as much as non-discount places would. I would recommend if you're looking for decent stuff at good prices.”

410 Bush St, Red Wing“I LOVE this store. They are a throwback to what grocery stores were like before the big stores shrunk selections. Koplins is an especially great place for single people or couples who don't want to do a lot of cooking from scratch, but want good food and variety. They have a lot of homestyle prepared foods and soups packaged in quantities good for one or two people. They have a wider selection of meats than bigger stores. I don't live in Red Wing, but help my Mom when she shops here. Some prices are higher than at larger stores, but I would definitely shop here if I lived in RW because of all the good looking stuff they have.”
“Folks are pleasant, the store is smaller so things are easier to find. I will shop here when I only need a few things and don't have it in me to go all the way up to the big store and trudge around there. Prices are too high for big shopping unless you go prepped with a list from the weekly ad page and coupons, then one could do very well doing weekly grocery shopping at Family Fare.”
“Last week over 10% of my pick up order was "out of stock". I think a few associates take a quick look then just mark it out of stock to increase the numbers of orders they put out.”
“I just moved to Red Wing, and this is my neighborhood grocery store. It is small but has a lot packed inside. It just celebrated a century of existence. It is not the best place for bargain hunting, but you know what? They have the best selection around of local goods, everything from cheese (CannonBelles!) to produce (Lake City strawberries!) to crackers to BBQ sauces. The meat department has a great selection and a really nice butcher. Actually, everyone here has been incredibly nice. I imagine that it's the kind of place where I'll soon know the workers' names and they'll know mine.”
