Prior Lake Pet Hospital turned my pet away when she was at her sickest. This was after I made a commitment to be on a monthly vet plan with them. I needed to go to my old vet to receive vet care. I question their commitment to a high level of veterinary care. Based on a couple negative experiences with them, I would never recommend them.

I absolutely recommend Prior Lake Pet Hospital! They were top notch with our dog! The staff is wonderful and the gave me Options and prices! I will use them again, if I need to!

Wow! I am so impressed with this clinic. The inside is clean, comfortable and doesn’t feel stuffy like most clinics. The vet and the staff were amazing. They treated us and our cat well. We almost drove all the way out to Oakdale tonight and I am so glad we came here

I have been going to Norwood Vet Clinic for 40 years but live in Prior Lake and had an emergency with my dog and needed to get her to urgent care asap this morning. I am used to with my vet in Norwood to exceptional customer service and compassionate bedside manner with my dogs. The vet who saw my dog was a 3 but the Vet Tech who came in afterwards to give me two meds and explain dosage was EXTREMELY rushed and show no concern or interest in taking the time with me and I had to tellher to slow down to understand what she was saying and to get my questions answered. I felt she had no real interest in my or my dogs situation and just wanted to get to the next dog. It is a 45 minute drive to my vet in Norwood and I was thinking if I should switch all my care for my two dogs to PL Pet Hospital. I will go to them for Urgent Care as they are close in an emergency but will not go to them for the full care of my dogs.

Horrible service been sitting here for.2 hours and no one has came in to look at.my dog eye.its nasty and the dont.care.about pets just bs.

We've been to many vets over the years so I don't take it lightly when I say the team here is absolutely phenomenal. They treat pets like they're their own and that is priceless to me. Dr. Bernaciak is the most humane and personable vet I've worked with since we adopted our kitty a few years back. The team there are definitely cat and dog people which I love to see. They pour their heart into what they do to provide the best customer/patient support possible. I wish I could say the same were true for other vets. I also really appreciated that they keep a designated room for cats only to make it a bit more comfortable for them. I highly recommend Prior Lake Pet Hospital if you're looking for a local vet in the Savage/Prior Lake area for your cat or dog. They're the BEST! It's an added bonus that they also have urgent care with extended late hours for those emergencies that happen and are open 7 days a week!

Absolutely wonderful everytime I come! My dog is not a fan of the vet & they deal with him with compassion. I have never had a bad experience! The office staff, technician, & vets are all amazing!

July 3rd 2023 my dog Ringo got bitten by a more aggressive dog. While his injuries were quite serious. Dr. Clarkson (I believe) help save my dogs life and assure me all will be well. My wife and I are forever grateful for all the work Dr. Clarkson did. Anyway took me a year to write this review but am so happy how well Ringo has recovered and am eternally grateful.

Honestly had a really awful experience here. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Insanely expensive and they lack in empathy. Ended up going to mission in Eden prairie and had a much better experience even having to wait in line for 2 hours was nothing compared to my experience with this vet in prior lake. Do not recommend. They also were supposed send X-rays and case information to mission so I could hold an appointment and they failed to do so even with me calling multiple times--because of this is why my son myself and our sick cat had to stand in line for 2 hours to be seen at mission. ((Still highly recommend mission))

Every time my golden retriever wags his big fluffy tail I am reminded of my gratitude for Dr. Joshua Albright. Two other veterinarians recommended a tail amputation due to a sebaceous cyst underneath the tail. Dr. Albright believed he could remove the cyst and save the tail. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Albright’s skill and dedication to our furry family members. ♥️

Our sweet baby started having aggreasive behavior and lashed out at me. They were caring as we put him down. Picked him to take him home today. They were still caring as they placed him into hid urn. Very caring and professional. Highly recommend.

Our chocolate lab started having some severe reverse sneezing going on (30+ minutes) and it was getting worrisome. We called around 8pm to see if they could check him out and they luckily had time.
They were the nicest group of people we have ever worked with. the vet tech took the time to ask all the questions about our dog, listen to his weird noises and keep us informed of the process.
The vet that came in sat down and spent an incredibly long time with us and our dog. She didn't rush us at all, answered every question and followed up every time asking if we had more questions so we didn't feel like we missed anything.
Some of the best service we have ever had came from this emergency and they did an amazing job putting us at ease of the situation that was initially really scary.
Also, don't judge the outside of the building, cause the inside was beautiful.

BEWARE DECEITFUL BEHAVIOR
made appt which was a week out due to full schedule but was told I could call any day prior to see if there were cancellation to come in earlier. Was able to get a cancelled appt 3 days prior to original. Even though I was prior client with another pet they said I need to pay $185 urgent care fee since this pet has never been seen there before even though I made an appt a week out. WHAT!!!!

The staff was incredibly kind and patient when we had to make the difficult decision that it was time to say goodbye to our beloved dog. We were able to take as much time as we needed in their "comfort room" to say our goodbyes and for our dog to get comfortable. He passed on his blanket from home with his head resting on his favorite toy surrounded by family. The whole process was very peaceful. So thank you to staff for making this difficult day a little easier. We are forever grateful.
