My grandmother purchased a car here. And they totally ripped her off. I'd highly recommend to stay away from these Liars. Please don't let them rip you off

The photos they post of the vehicles on they're online, do not show the flaws of the vehicles. Misleading. Drove t 2 hours only to find a poor repairs, lots of over spray. Paint bubbles. Wouldn't suggest this dealership

VERY UNFORTUNATE! BUYERS BEWARE! We purchased a vehicle from H&G Auto and within the first 6 weeks we had major issues. The dash had 3 warning lights, finally telling us to pull over because the engine was overheating. The car went into limp mode, only allowing us to go 20 to 40 miles per hour. After taking it to our mechanic we found part of the engine was replaced with the wrong engine, so the car is undrivable and unfixable. We are out $7000. We called Grant and he quickly said “As Is” and they were unwilling to work with us. Also, per Grant, the car was inspected by their mechanic, so buyers beware! It seems the engine was replaced, but that was not disclosed to us! We feel if they didn't know about it, then the mechanic did a poor inspection job. We’ve been scammed and don’t want this to happen to anyone else! Also the title took over a month to get to us, so we didn’t drive the vehicle much at all!

This place is flat out dishonest. They scam people for a living. They sold us a car that broke down with in a week. Needs a whole new engine. Read some more reviews and you’ll see a reoccurring theme.

I bought a 2010 Chevy Malibu from this dealership in January 2023. When purchasing this vehicle i was told that the car was in really good shape and the only thing wrong was that there was a hole in the muffler causing it to be a little loud, but it was someone’s every day commuter that they traded in and ran well. Within 2 weeks, the whole sensor system went out on the vehicle, which was about $550 to replace. Then the power steering sensor went out, which was another $680 alone to replace that, all before March. The “hole in the muffler being loud” was actually the break calipers going out. When the snow melted, I noticed my front bumper was being held on by black duct tape that was starting to come off. From January 5th until June I spent over $2000 in repairs on a “good vehicle”, which I paid $5,400 for the vehicle in the first place. When purchasing the vehicle, they signed the wrong date on the dealership reassignment and the title, and did not even offer to go through the process of registering plates for me, saying it’s just be “cheaper to do it on my own”. Would not recommend this place, I am down thousands of dollars due to H&G auto.

Good used cars at a decent price.Keep in mind that the vehicles are used and they don't carry any warranty.Their mechanic is the best in the area.

Employees seemed nice but the building was gross inside. Called ahead to look at a vehicle and when I got there it was on empty and every light on the dash was lit up. Had a knock from the front end like a ball joint was bad. Overall not a good experience.

We bought a 2001 Chrysler Concorde from Grant. It was no pressure and the deal went flawlessly. We would recommend H&G Auto Sales.

They aren't actually open the hours they say they are. Even if you're willing to travel an hour to buy a car they will make you come back the next day because "they pick their own hours". Very frustrating when you need a car.

My wife and I drove up from Des Moines. By the time we had gotten there, the vehicle had unfortunately sold. Luckily, they had an identical vehicle and they didn’t let us leave without it. About 320 miles later, I was home and impressed with the comfort of the ride.Grant and Hunter were a great couple of guys to purchase from. They gave me a call on the way to let me know the car we were interested in had sold. It’s always a gamble traveling for a vehicle. My wife and I were very appreciative that they had the decency to give us a heads up so we didn’t show up for a car that’s not there. They provided such service that my wife was impressed; which is tough considering I’m pretty sure she believes there’s a special place in hell for car salesmen. If you keep in mind that you’re buying a used car and don’t have expectations of a business passing up cash for someone to take a look-see; you’ve got a real good shot of leaving here happy with your purchase, as well as the folks you chose to do business with.We are happy we drove up, met, and purchased from Hunter and Grant.

Bought two vehicles from them at a fair price. One of them was willing to help resolve an issue. The other one basically said “too bad” about not having a key to make my vehicle unlocked (Ford Mykey) I’m stuck shelling out $275 just for the key to make the volume and speed go up in my car. Be ultra careful as these vehicles have not been well inspected. If you’re a mechanic or know your cars, might work out for you. I’ve already found several needed repairs for not having a mechanic look at it. Lesson learned, will not do or promote business here again. I suggest you consider the same.Update - after 1 month and about 500 miles the $5000 truck I bought needs over $7000 in repairs. They sold it with a completely missing front brake pad. Front hubs were shot, and it needs a new transmission and then several sensors. Now selling it for scrap basically. Be VERY aware and I would suggest just staying away. Never trust a business without an email address on their website. These guys will say these are mechanically sound vehicles, not the case. My fault for not knowing the vehicles better to check them more throughly, but I figured it was against the law to sell vehicles with obvious safety issues. They also still have not given a title after two months, which is somehow legal, they sure wont’t explain that to you.

We were treated with respect and the car we got is wonderful to drive. The guys are very nice to work with. Would go back for another vehicle if we needed one
