“I was pleasantly surprised to learn we have a coffee bar in Preston! I tested the waters with a cappuccino- no flavorings or sweeteners to hide behind; either it will be good or not. Rod N’ Reel makes a good cappuccino! Pleasant aroma, nice froth, just the right amount of bitter but not burnt. So why not 5 stars? Because I had no idea it was a live coffee bar. For months I thought this was just a set of display shelves in front of the deli selling some locally roasted beans. There are no signs listing what drinks they sell or prices. Their equipment is behind the display; I had to ask if they had an espresso maker. The only reason I knew this was here is I heard someone else mention a new coffee shop in Preston Foods. I suggest adding a wall menu of drinks inside, and either include that on the Preston Foods website, or better yet add Rod N’ Reel to Google Maps with a new dedicated website. I hope this grows and sticks around, they do a good job.”
