“I've been taking both cars here since we came to town last year. The guys are straight forward and are willing to go the extra mile on complicated issues. Great service!”
“In town for a fishing weekend when tire pressure light came on. Stopped in at Bauer Built to see if the could check and repair tire. They dropped everything they were doing and had the tire patched in fifteen minutes! Thanks Bauer Built for saving the day for us!”
“Terrible experience. No one was in the office and no one was in the shop, but I quickly realized this was a repair shop of a very busy man. Shortly after I arrived, Jerry arrived and introduced himself and said he was too busy to help me. What a jerk. If I was able to, I would give this "business" 7 stars. I told him that I understood and asked if he could spare less than a minute of his time to identify a sound. He shook his head and told me to get out of there... Okay, maybe that last part didn't happen. Jerry hopped in Big Bertha (2008 Chevy Express 3500) and I drove less than 10 yards and hit the brakes. I told him that I did a lot of my own work and had been chasing that noise. He immediately knew what it was and explained exactly what the issue was. Not only that, he verified it and showed me how the wheel bearing sensor was causing my issue. After a quick fuse pull and a lap around the shop, I was shocked and impressed that the noise was gone. I asked Jerry what I owed him and he said don't worry about it, but I still gave him $20. A well equipped shop, affordable prices, outside-the-box thinking where necessary, and most importantly experience is what you can expect from McCabe Repairs. Thank you Mr. McCabe.
