“I found Joy while searching for a seamstress in my area to alter several blazers I had recently purchased. I requested an appointment through her business's Facebook page late one evening and woke up the next morning to a message from Joy confirming the appointment. Joy was such a pleasure to work with and I was thrilled with the plan for each blazer. She listened to me when I said I prefer silver over gold for buttons/pins for the jackets and even provided me with several options that she hand picked for me to choose from (I chose them all!) One of the blazers needed a lot of work to fit correctly (it is not an easy material to work with and had a satin lining) and Joy's skills shown through as the jacket looks like it was made for me!
Not only is joy a phenomenal seamstress, but an asset to our community. She gives back by spending her weekends teaching kids how to sew and hosting a fashion review for her kids to show off everything they've learned and what they have created.
There is no doubt that Joy will be my go-to moving forward and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly skilled seamstress!

“Noticed a defect in a new Skol hat I bought from Sota at the state fair when I got home. Went to this St. Louis Park store the next day to see if they would exchange it. They didn’t have that specific hat since everything went to the fair, so he just made me a new one on the spot in 5 minutes. Best customer service ever. Love this brand. Love their people.”

I had previously been to multiple other vendors in the Twin Cities and the sales experience and especially the dress selections were really below average which made me anxious about ever finding anything I might like within my budget.Cue Anthropologie.I loved every single dress on the Anthropologie wedding website because the catalog looked timeless, chic, and elegant and this prompted me to book an appointment with a local store (which I was able to secure the same week). The dresses were a bit above my original budget, but what I saw online was so promising that I was willing to go above what I had in mind. Best. Decision. Ever.I nearly wept publicly from relief when I tried on the first dress in the store. The fabric, fit, and design of their inventory is UNMATCHED in comparison to any "traditional" bridal shops in the Twin Cities. The store associates were incredibly helpful, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about styles. They were able to assess my preferences and pulled dresses beyond what I had originally wanted to try, and I loved every single one.Truly so beyond happy with the experience (I found THE dress!!) and will refer my friends to this location for anything wedding-related. 10/10 experience!! “Very nice place. My only grow was the comissioned sales staff. As a person seasoned in sales, I saw the quiet battle playing out between competing sales people on a slow weekday afternoon. They all conducted themselves professionally, but I feel I could have been better served of those individuals were trained to assist me, rather than simply being rewarded for meeting sales.
I ultimately got better help from their competitor and voted with my dollars, spending zero of them at Nordstrom on a day where I broke the budget on new clothes.”

“My son, unfortunately, misplaced a Macy's gift card that was given to him for his birthday. As a last ditch effort, I printed the credit card transaction and headed in to see if they could help us. Priscilla was so kind and so sweet to us! Having to use three different computers to search for the transaction and find the ever important previous GC card number. Tucker was also brought in to ensure the process was successful. He was also so patient and kind to us! They were able to transfer from the lost card to a new one and my son was able to use the card that day. I cannot recall better customer service in the past decade. Thank you Priscilla & Tucker!”

“Kohls is an interesting store offering a wide variety of stylish clothes and accessories at good prices. The quality seems fine, but it looks kind of outdated both in its overall setup but also in the items it offers as a store. Recommended! Anyone might find something they need or like.”
“You could find heavily discounted items of popular brands but often the common / popular sizes are out of stock. You can try similar items in store and order the right size / colors you want online, since you can find more on their website.”
