“I rented a truck and attempted to do the mobile pickup. Complete fail. I ended up going to the counter and was helped immediately, and far quicker than the mobile option. The employee even brought the truck around to us and explained everything we needed to know about the questionnaire you have to fill out online about the vehicle. After I gave up the mobile option, it was a good experience.”
“My experience with the company is limited but I feel they deserve a rating and review for their customer service and adaptability. We rented a truck online to pick up the next day. We had a discount that was honored. Reserving the truck was simple and fast. The Budget Truck was a little bigger than the other companies we checked. The one day rental price was the same as the other places but less when our discount was factored in. Prior to picking up the truck a friend offered us his truck and trailer. We called Budget to see if we could cancel without penalty. They were super easy about canceling and there was no charge to us at all. The only thing I would caution people on is to check on the per mile charge. Mileage was going to be four times what the actual rental fee was. That can add a lot to the cost if you are not paying attention. That is common with all of the truck rental companies. Budget's per mile charge was about twenty five cents cheaper per mile though.”
