Cannot in all honesty recommend American Family Insurance, and especially not Bob Lind.Bob ended up costing me more than 100 dollars unnecessarily because he lied to me on a phone call and then if ored any further attempts to contact him.While I was a paying client, he was somewhat responsive. Once I decided to leave American Family and let him know, he told me I would no longer be billed, but then received an additional month.I called Bob and left a message. No response. Called again. No response. Finally, I called the corporate line and they told me to email him with evidence that my insurance period ended when I said that it did.I sent him the email with the evidence. No response.Good customer service isn't just about getting new business. It's also about how you say goodbye to your old customers, so that they aren't left with a bad taste.in their mouths.

They kept billing me after I canceled. When I tried to contact to correct they wouldn't return calls or emails.I had to call corporate to get it straightened out.Do not use them! Terrible!!

If I could give no stars I would! DO NOT use this agency. They do not care about returning phone calls. Did not bother to inform me that discounts dropped off because they needed information. I called a dozen times and emailed. They clearly do not care about getting business or customer care. I can assure you if push comes to shove and you need them for an actual disaster or claim you won't be able to get a hold of them. Save yourself time and frustration find a different agent!! Don't reward them with your business. Hope I can save someone else time and money!

Recently bought a new car and then sold my previous car. Both calls were quick and easy, talked to a real person, and got the right amount of coverage after asking a few questions. Appreciated their friendly staff, and my rates were lower than I had estimated they would be.

This agency is AWFUL. I have called multiple times to adjust my policy and they refuse to return a phone call. Last time we tried to change a policy it took SIX MONTHS and adozen calls, the last one from another agent requesting our policy to transfered to their office. Why it did not happen is beyond me, but this agency is a nightmare.
