Very cool place. Got to see where all the stone was taken to build pipes and various other things in the area. The water fall is very cool to see in a place that is very flat.

The Pipestone Indian Shrine Association is a true asset to the Pipestone National Monument. As the Pipestone Tourism Director, we frequently hear how the opportunity to watch the carvers, ask them questions, see the beautiful variety of pipes in the Museum exhibits and the exquisite pieces in the Gallery are a true highlight of their visit to the Monument. The Gift Shop is one of the favorite places where children are able to purchase items to remember the things they learn at the Monument and adults purchase precious heirlooms cherished for generations. This nonprofit organization is beloved to our town and elevates the visitor experience at the Pipestone National Monument. A true treasure!
