Staff is very nice but every time I get food from here it's moldy/bad the next day. I end up throwing away over half of what I get. And most of it is usually expired.

The people were so kind and quality of food was amazing. They were so busy (phone rang pretty much the whole time) and the intake lady was patient with everyone, Dale (I think his name was) assisted us and was very generous and non judgemental. It was by appointment so that was nice, not overcrowded and a variety of things to pick from

I like this place for the most part. The people are nice and the food you get is okay. I am upset though that I came in for the first time with my son and the first thing the person at the front says is "He can't be in here." I looked at her and said "Okay, well I don't have anyone to watch him." To which she replied "Well maybe they'll let you shop." She explained this was a new rule from higher up which I said I understood however I was never informed of this. I received no phone call or letter in the mail explaining the sudden change. I also understand why this is something that could need to be put into place, however I am home alone out of work, and my husband works Monday through Friday. I have no one to watch my son as they are all working and I definitely cannot afford childcare. When I left the shop the person had then asked me if I would like to schedule my appointment for next month. I asked if you could do shops on weekends to which she replied no. I then responded that I couldn't then because I have to watch him.It is incredibly frustrating because how am I supposed to get food to feed my son if he isn't allowed in there in the first place. This is extremely restrictive to parents who stay at home or can't afford childcare and could cause of lot of families to go without food. Will something be done to help combat this issue or are single parent families / stay at home parents with a working spouse just out of luck? I'm very worried about how I'm going to get food in the future now.
