2 days ago when I came here I bought the birthday cake milk because why not, and a little bit after taking a few drinks I realized the side of the cap had mold, I spit it out and the milk was green. Do not by food here.

I am very unhappy with the dollar store in Pine City! We are looking for water goblets now for a wedding coming soon! We need 200 more. My granddaughter has 62 on hold in Duluth and my daughter has 40 on hold in Hastings. I called the store in Pine City and she said she does not have time to go looking for anything in her store. The right answer would have been "I don't have time right now but I will take your number and call you back with an answer

If I could rate it lower I would. This store is incapable of hiring a qualified manager after the last one left. The store is a mess, nothing is ever in the right places. The bathrooms are never clean, and from what I have heard the new manager only encouraged cleaning ONCE a week. That is UNACCEPTABLE in a place of business, especially one that sees as much traffic as this one does. Multiple reports have been made to OSHA and to the BBB which clearly have not helped. The employees don't get proper training from this manager. She is rude and borderline impossible to be near. She fired someone for cleaning too much? That seems absurd. The staff turnover at this location is also intense. I feel like the maximum new hires last is a couple weeks. If that! At some point you have to wonder if it's the employees she hires or if it is her? All of the old capable staff are almost gone. Congrats Dollar Tree. You really picked a winner. I for one will no longer be shopping at this store, and likely a lot of customers will share my sentiment.Dollar tree's district manager for this area continues to make excuses for her bad behavior and I am sick of it. She is breaking multiple rules currently being employed there as someone of familial relation (Sister) is employed there, and she is in a relationship with the Merchant Manager at this location which if you read the staff manual you will note is strictly forbidden to fraternize with employees.It is clear to me that Dollar Tree simply is not able to care about the workplace and rules that they set in place or she would have been fired months into her employment. This is ridiculous.

Let me start off by saying that I used to shop in dollar tree often, at one point in time it was a very clean store and pleasant to shop in.The new manager is not an employee I would ever hire. Runs the store like a shipyard. She hired a family member and fired an employee that was there for over 9 years. I will never shop in there agian.

The place cycles through employees very fast. They are not focused on cleanliness. Seems staff is not trained well, and they are under appreciated. Very poor management compared to a year ago.

Dirty all of the time. Facilities are in shambles. Understaffed and undertrained. Bad leadership. Boats of product all over the place. Just unfortunate really, a little over a year ago the place was really put together.

Often times I go in, it’s a mess, carts of product everywhere, they seem to have a staffing problem and don’t seem to care about the staff they do have.

I was just in there to get a base for the Christmas tree I bought there. It came without a base and I thought maybe I could go in and buy it separately, but it turns out it was just missing a base. They said they do not do refunds and they do not have any Christmas trees left. They only do exchanges. But since they do not have any Christmas trees left, they wouldn't help me. The manager on duty did not care to help me. I guess that's what I get for trying to buy a small 4 ft Christmas tree for $5? I can't even set it up now and it's not like it's that huge of a deal, but they won't even refund my money and I live 40 miles away so it's not like I'm going to come in all the time. A very disappointing trip and even more disappointing customer service. $5 wasted
