My experience with this pharmacy has always been positive! Sure they have busy times, but I have also noticed that customers get very aggressive at times, and it is stuff that is simply not in the employees hands. How can someone get mad at the employees— when they don’t drive the trucks to bring said medication in? Anyways, be patient with your service and health workers they are human too; I certainly appreciate to get my meds that I need everyday.

Prescriptions are never ready at the promised times, always have to wait even when told to pickup at a certain time. People behind the counter rather deal with their Mary K rep then actually help customers.

Hy-Vee pharmacy in Owatonna has went so down hill. Called in a few prescriptions and was told ready after 2pm on Saturday Dec 24th, so wife went to pick up at 2:15. Sign on door and the internet said open until 4pm. Pharmacy was shut down at 2pm today for some reason. Of course, nothing could be done since pharmacist was gone. Time to move all prescriptions elsewhere, would not recommend at all.

I was very disappointed in what I witnessed and heard while I waited for my medication to be filled. The staff is very unprofessional and disorganized. In the 25 minutes I waited I heard the staff doing nothing but gossip about patients, complain about the work they were doing, incorrectly fill/dispense 2 other peoples prescriptions, then proceed to raise their voices and call names at someone who brought back a prescription that was given to them that was not theirs, and then argue about the refund they were due. My prescription was mislabeled and had to be reworked as well(good thing i checked it myself before I left). How are they still in business? There is a reason these medications are not OTC, they can be very dangerous if not dispensed properly or given to the wrong patient. A very serious license inquiry and audit needs to be done by the state board. Nevermind the hippa violations but the pure negligence is just shocking from a safety standpoint.

Drive through is terrible. It is supposed to be quick and easy. Waited here for 20 minutes on just one car.

TERRIBLE ? ... THEY SENT MY KIDS MEDICINE HOME WITH IT NOT EVEN MIXED ...TOOK 30 MINUTES TO JUST SLAPPED THE LABEL ON THE BOX THAT HAD THE POWDER THAT NEEDED TO BE MIXED IN IT STILL. SINCE WHEN WAS PROFESSIONALISM THROWN OUT THE DOOR. BECCA SAID THE TECHS WERE NEW. YOUR THE PHARMACIST. MIXING IS YOUR JOB. AND THE TECHS OBVIOUSLY HAVENT BEEN TRAINED WHEN THEY CANT FIND A SYRINGE FOR A CHILDS MEDICINE.

I've been struggling with a different pharmacy to get a specialty script of mine for over a month. Hy Vee had it the next day. The pharmacist was pleasant, understanding, and says she promises to always have it in stock for me. Fantastic.

Unprofessional restraint manager !! Yelling at , & humiliating employee (((in training )))))while waiting on tables. complaining she had to work on her day off because of the traing . Really ??? If this is how they treat their staff I don't care to do business there Ever again.

I called in a prescription on Friday Nov 19 through the automated line and was told my prescription would be ready for pick up on Sunday Nov 21 at 2pm. I stopped by there on Saturday morning at 10:30ish after a hospital ED visit to pick up the prescription called in by the ED Dr. It wasn’t ready, no surprise there. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I opted not to stay because I wasn’t feeling well. I came back at 2:30pm (nearly 4 hours later) and it wasn’t ready! I had to wait. I also checked in the other prescription and that wasn’t ready (understandable) and told the customer service employee I d be back on Sunday at 2 to pick it up! I got there today, Sunday and they were CLOSED! Am I wrong to think this is an absolute disservice, easily avoidable and my right to be upset? Now I’m going two nights without a much needed medication! I’m done with this Pharmacy. This has happened too many times before and I’m becoming less tolerant of being on the victim side of it.I realize , they are short staffed, seems to be the excuse for many of service places these days, but I believe in making the best with what little you have. The staff refuses to acknowledge that you’re standing waiting to be helped, ignoring your presence instead of saying “I’ll be right with you”. Such an easy professional outreach to someone or most that aren’t feeling well in the first place! My prescriptions and my money will find a much more appreciative, professional and compassionate home from today forward!

We switched to Hy-Vee Pharmacy about one year ago because they are easier to work with. Jody and the Pharmacist team always take time to answer our questions.

The incompetentance of this pharmacy is unreal. I don't know what's happened but we are in the process of moving everything out to another pharmacy. Not what is used to be.

Would definitely NOT recommend them. Their staff is rude! They gave me eye drops with someone else’s name on them that I used after my eye surgery without knowing if they were even the right ones. Called and told them about it they asked me to come in and bring them in with me so they can make it right. They were VERY rude when I brought them back in. Jody should not be working with people! She was very rude told me that the main pharmacy manager was busy giving vaccines and I would have to wait took another person back for another vaccine that came in after I did knowing I was waiting to talk to the same pharmacist giving the vaccines. I asked to talk to another manager because that was completely rude! She said another manager was coming to talk to me. That manager said “does she want to wait for ____ or is she okay talking with me about it? Jody said I don’t care what she wants _____ is busy giving vaccines! The manager that did talk to me said ____ has a reimbursement for you for YOUR inconvenience I guess…I told her I didn’t want the money I wanted to make sure this was never gonna happen again and she proceeded to say that errors happen and that the more errors that they have the more likely that they will be able to get more help in the pharmacy from corporate! Absolutely ridiculous! I will be calling corporate and transferring all my medication out of this pharmacy!
