My best friend and I share all our fur babies. In August of 2018, the cat we shared , Zoey, I found her in the basement at his house, unable to move. Just her head and tail. I carried her upstairs. Once he saw her condition, he immediately called her vet, which at the time was Dr. Krumm (lived up to his name that day!) . Although she was a WELL established patient at that practice (she was nearly 10 and had been going there since she was a kitten!) and we were out of our minds worried, he refused to see her! So we decided to try heartland. Over 5 days we saw both Dr. Anna and Dr. Jill. The care they gave Zoey and the compassion to her and us, we decided they were our vet from then on. We had to say goodbye to Zoey on day 5. They were beyond kind to us. They have been so good to our senior dog (who still hasn’t figured out she isn’t a puppy anymore) and the total of 6 kitties that have joined our family since .

I brought my 8 month old puppy in with what had start as minor but turned into major head swelling. Dr. Anna and all of the amazing techs took such good care of my little girl. Dr. Anna was amazing and went above and beyond checking in and trying to figure out what was causing the mass swelling. It was scary but the team kept me calm and talked me through every step. One and a half months later she is stable and back to her normal self enjoying life! Thank you! I wouldn’t trust my dogs with anyone else!!

The team is absolutely wonderful and so welcoming! They are patient and understanding. I'm currently taking care of a friend's dog and she's a very anxious dog. They made her feel safe. The veterinarian answered all my questions and was extremely helpful!

I called to get an ultrasound to determine pregnancy in my Canine. After giving them all my dogs information and being told I could probably get a same day appointment, I was told they would call me back. Over an hour later I called back and was told they wouldn't have any openings until AFTER my dog's due date...a month later. Are you kidding me? Ultrasounds take literally 3 minutes. What a joke. Thanks for wasting the time I could have spent calling other places. Rediculous. And horrible service and responsiveness.

I recommend this vet to anyone who is looking for a place that will take exceptional care of your fur babies. I have been taking my dog to Heartland (Owatonna) for a couple years now and never have had a bad experience. All of the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. If you’re looking for a vet currently, I would not pass this one up.

Came from our family's cabin in northern mn on a road trip, one of our dogs had a corneal ulcer from getting scratched in the eye so we decided to stop here because of the convenient location. Checking in was very easy and quick, no wait time at all. The staff was extremely friendly and identified the problem of our dogs' eye and prescribed medications in no time. Got out of there quick to get to our next destination on time. I cannot stress how friendly and kind the staff was; they even sent us a postcard when we got home! Would highly recommend this place, especially if it's on the go!!

Finding a vet that loves your fur baby is priceless. Dr.Jill has been my cat’s primary doctor for years. She’s very thorough and takes the time necessary to come up with a care plan as circumstances change with age. All of the staff are always kind and considerate and I appreciate the honesty and transparency of the team. I know that my sweet girl is in good hands when I take her in. It may be pricey compared to other vets but I can’t put a price tag on the wellness and care of my best friend. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else.

Our sweet baby became very ill. We called sevral vets that were to busy to check her out. This was the first to ask what was going on. They got her in right away. As heartbreaking as it is to post our beloved Mila didnt make it. The staff was very empathetic and showed our family great respect and allowed is to grieve privately as she passed away. Thank you for setting our baby from her pain.

Great Vet's and staff that are very thorough and caring. I had an emergency and needed to get my dog in right away so having multiple vets and 2 locations, they were able to get me in right away.

My local vet clinic referred me to this business for an expensive Insulin, that I needed same day and they didn't carry. I accidentally dropped the newish bottle on the floor that morning. Not a good start to the day. Everything went smoothly until I tried to pick-up the medication. It was the Friday prior to Labor Day weekend. I didn't realize until I was on the road that they closed earlier then I thought. I live in a rural area the clinic is 45 minutes away. I was over half there when I activated google maps and found out I was going to arrive 10 minutes after they closed. I immediately called and reported the problem. The "receptionist" said that "If they are there still there I can get the medication, but there is no guarantee. If we aren't, you can always pick it up when we are back on Tuesdays". So 4 days without insulin for my pet.I asked if I can pay for it now and just put it outside the door, so I can pick it up. This is a medication that needs to be refrigerated. So she flatly said NO. In my experience, the vets put a cold pack in the bag with the medication for transport home. I didn't think about that and she didn't even suggested it as a possibility.Basically, the snippy attitude and the unwillingness to problem solve is why I'm writing this review. Can't rate the actual vet care and will never go there due to the "face of the business" was so rigid and not helpful.

I’ve never had someone at a veterinarian clinic complain about their job because of my German Shorthair being hyper. They’re hyper dogs. Not going back. They charged us 30 dollars to clip nails and the reasoning is because they had to add an extra person. The whole thing took 10 min.
