We purchased a new construction home from DR Horton two years ago and Focal Point was the vendor that installed the flooring. After the warranty period had ended with DR Horton, a number of issues became apparent with our main level laminate flooring. Focal Point stepped up where DR Horton would not, identified the issues, and ultimately did a complete re-install of the flooring. All issues were resolved, the team that did the pull-up/reinstall was top notch, and we feel great about the entire situation. We would definitely use Focal Point in the future for other flooring projects and very much appreciate them standing behind their work.

This specific flooring sucks!!!!!! It’s pretty immediately after washing but give it 1-2 hours and it looks horrific again. You can see every single foot print etc.. it ALWAYS looks dirty. I’d recommend they not sell this anymore bc it’s a nightmare. You will be displeased I promise..

Would not recommend - floor is coming up in multiple places in less than a year. FocalPoint is not standing behind their product after glueing down a floating floor. Says it is standard defects!

Focalpoint does wonderful tile work. They repaired our walk-in shower and it looks beautiful! This company is accommodating and friendly. I'd highly recommend them.

Vitali with Focal Point did a great job, going above and beyond to carefully install a challenging tile. Focal Point was great to work with and professional in every communication. Price was also very competitive.

Terrible workmanship sums up my experience with FocalPoint Flooring. Unfortunately my builder didn't allow me to select who installed the floors. My house was built only 2 years ago and we've had problems with our LVP flooring immediately. Gaps all over and connection points that were never installed correctly creating high/low joints that you can see in the pictures. One spot got so bad that it actually splintered away (again see pics). Had them come out to "fix" certain area's before the 1 year warranty expired, but more areas keep having this same issue and they won't do anything about it. They try anything they can to blame the owner for the problem, but it's 100% installation issue, confirmed with a good friend who owns a flooring business. They told me I would have to pay $200+ just to have someone come out and inspect the problems. Even the laminate in our bathrooms were absolute garbage on the install (see pics). The person I spoke with from FocalPoint told me that the person who installed the floors was one of their more seasoned installers which is comical seeing all the similar reviews and experiences like I had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company for any projects!

Our appointment went very smoothly. Karysa was wonderful, helping when needed with expert advise on the many tough decisions we had to make. She made the process stress free and easy to follow! Overall wonderful experience, we are very excited for our new house!

After having the floor installed in my brand new home within 4 months it started popping up at the seems. They did a test on my floor and said I had pet urine on it. My dogs have never been upstairs in my house but they heard them bark downstairs in my basement. The entire floor is popping at the seams. From other reviews I have seen also they are just a horrible contractor and shouldn’t be in business.

Horrible experience!!!! Was forced to use this company by our builder, so if given the choice, strongly recommend you avoid!!! They do not stand behind their craftsmanship, at all!!! Our house is only 3 years old and having serious issues with our countertops and flooring in the house due to their poor workmanship. Cookie cutter business for sure and always giving excuses for why it's not "their" fault, and holds you responsible. I've had these issues looked at by other reputable companies and they have also stated these issues were due to poor craftsmanship and should not have arrived so early. Buyer beware!!!!

Very helpful in the store, but when it comes to install and backing up the install it is poor service. Our laminate flooring was installed in 2016, and when asked if they could fix the flooring in our hallway, they said they'd charge us even though their installers cut the flooring just long enough to hide the ends at the edge of the trim. Luckily I have a whole box yet so I can fix it myself.

Like many others who have posted online reviews we were also very disappointed with Focal Point due to their poor workmanship. When we started to have issues with wrinkles in our carpet they quickly tried to blame us for not using the correct vacuum, not cleaning properly, etc. Although we followed their guidelines they wouldn’t stand behind their work. We had another company correct the issue and without hesitation they said “ your carpet should never look this bad after 2 years. It’s clear Focal Point took shortcuts during installation and didn’t use a power stretcher”. While I’m no expert it certainly made sense when nearly every room in the house had problems. You would think that after purchasing an entire house worth of flooring from them while building our home they would stand behind their work. We were forced to use Focal Point by our builder but if given the choice I would certainly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Hi FocalPoint (Tina, Natalie and installers),Thank you for helping me through this process with my floors.My husband and I were astonished by the skill and speed of the installers that completed our floor.You would never guess we had a removal and replacement in our home. Our walls and trim look exactly the same as when they started.Thank you Natalie for all of your wise insite when you helped me select. My new floors are stunning and I LOVE them.

Our Home Builder Lennar used Focal Point to install our laminate floor. Within one year, the boards has shifted and moved with large gaps. Tried contacting them with no response. Would not do business with them or built another home with Lennar.

Great selection, a bit overwhelming. Karysa was very knowledgeable of the products and helped pick a design that matched the rest of the decor. I'm not good at envisioning the final install and it turned out even better than I imagined.
