“So, I have to say I have been avoiding the Hamel post office for quite awhile. There was a gentleman that worked there that was just awful. Today I went in there because I didn't want to drive far because I don't live that far from it and the young woman that was working there today was a breath of fresh air. Just very nice and pleasant. I certainly hope she has replaced the other man. It would be different if he was awful every now and then but, no he was just unfriendly and gave such bad vibes everytime I dealt with him. I am giving these 4 stars to that young woman.”
“Periodically I stop at this post office to send mail, packages, and get stamps. I love this post office. Everyone I've ever seen here has been very nice, helpful and provided great service. The same on 3/27/24 at which time I saw Jeremy and he was the only one at the counter. What a nice pleasant man. He even helped me with the credit card machine and was not in the least impatient or trying to hurry me out of there. He showed me the newest stamps that just came in that day so I bought some. There are several workers I usually see there and they are all very nice each and every time even before the Holidays when the line was so long. I love this post office. I told Jeremy I always put the Post Office logo (from the book of stamps) on an envelope to seal it and write above it, 'Support Your Local Post Office' and he laughed and said Good!”
“I've only been here a handful of times, but when I do go the woman working the front counter has been efficient and pleasant to work with. Im sure it's a hard job, but she handles it with a great attitude. Someone give this woman a raise, she deserves it!”

“Yes, this is a mail distribution center but there are times I have to go there a pick up insured packages or certified mail. I have never had any problems getting my packages or certified mail there. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Ring the bell, show them my id, get my package. Its that easy.”
“Here in Ham Lake my letter carrier, Joel, is the absolute best. He goes out of his way to help me by picking up all of my out going packages (I sell online and recently broke my leg) and making sure everything is top notch, he is always smiling, helpful and in a good mood, thank you for being great Joel, you're the best.....!”

“While there are issues with the delivery service at times, the main office is just fine. While some have attitudes that some may find a distasteful, with the people they have to deal with and the grief they have to put up with, I can sympathize with them.
My service was great and very helpful. The only reason why I give them a 4 and not a 5, is because of the potholes throughout their parking and drop-off areas. A well as the dumb idea to change out the drive up drop boxes they used to have for the ones they currently have. You used to be able to drop off anything without getting out of your car, but now it's set so far back one has to get out to do it.”
