Brought my bearded dragon, Sergeant Pickles, in for some gut issues. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Douglas did a good job explaining everything and my dragon was treated with love and care by everyone!

Do not take your rabbit here. They are not rabbit specialists, the vet barely took a look at my rabbit and immediately misdiagnosed it and recommended procedures totaling over $1000 and then pressured me into choosing to do them asap otherwise they’re booked out weeks.
Glad I got a second opinion and found out what was actually wrong and had it treated for $100 total elsewhere. Absolutely insane. They get you in fast but the service ends there, the appointment took over an hour despite being seen by the vet who didn’t know how to exam a rabbit for 2 minutes.
Again, don’t risk your rabbits health here when it matters most.

We are unfortunately not coming back. Everything was good until we brought in our cat, who had a swollen face. The vet diagnosed her with a broken tooth, which would require extraction; however, the treatment should be rescheduled for a different day. When we inquired about whether our cat would require antibiotics, the veterinarian answered no and sent her just painkillers!
Three days later, we returned with our cat since her face had become more swollen and she had an abscess in her check, indicating that her tooth had been infected when it was originally brought. Following the $700-worth of anesthetic used to remove all of the pus from her check. This could have been prevented if the veterinarian had given the antibiotics on the first day of care rather than when the infection worsened and we had to pay more.

Absolutely lovely and caring people, from the front desk, to techs, to the vet our boys see, Dr. Green. I have zero qualms about recommending Douglas Animal Hospital to anyone.

Recently moved up to the area and was referred by my last vet to this vet. The staff is super friendly and kind, and helped find out what was wrong with my cats ears. Now with the treatment prescribe she is feeling and looking much better!

Great staff! My dog loves coming here. I know she's in great hands no matter if she's there for a wellness visit or when she's feeling sick.Our rabbits don't enjoy going anywhere ? but I know they're in good hands at Douglas Animal Hospital. My old man bun (10 years) needed some tests and the staff made sure nothing was causing him too much stress. ? I trust this vet with all our furry family members.

We go here now and could not be happier.We used to go to a place off of Bass Lake and Fish lake road. Those other guys were great with our little puppy when we got her, but not with my adopted “special” dog during covid with his anxiety and fearfulness and all the changing pieces in his life.Now we have been going here for three years now and THEY CARE! And it shows! ☺️ My pup and I love them! They’re patient , and we’ve had nothing but great service for my now big 85 lb hyper poodledor (labradoodle). They seem to like him and he goes with them willingly when they take him back. They worked with us during covid to provide a comfortable setting for my anxious pup when we adopted him. He was “special” and needed a little extra care at the time. Somewhat expensive per my mom, but I will pay anything for my dog to be treated the way he is here, and for me to be comfortable knowing I can bring him in and they will work with us. I will stay with them for my dogs services and my peace of mind and comfort. Everyone is so friendly, kind, helpful and supportive. They have my 5 stars.I’ve included a few pics. The last one is him when we first adopted him, you can see his trauma from his previous situation prior to being fostered and loved in Texas. Fast forward I have a happy dog in all of the other pictures, and the first one is at his second appointment being his happy self after we got him in the door and he realized how much he didn’t mind coming in.
