Very disappointed. Called to verify hours open only to received recording that says they will be open. Checked web site that clearly states open Saturday and Sunday. After driving 30 miles to get there they are not open. Sign on door confirms they should be open. Waited extra 10 minutes to see if someone was running late. At the price of gas and my disappointed grandson this was definitely not the experience I was hoping to show him ?

The sanctuary is truly amazing! If you want to witness true black bear behavior this is the place to go! The Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary is a magical place for all ages. I highly recommend a visit!!
