Jenny did an amazing job on my hair. She listened exactly to my wants, ensured I was comfortable at every step of the process, and provided the kindest attitude and an environment that was strongly dedicated to making her clients feel welcome. Having never met her before this session, walking into her salon was instantly like meeting with a friend. I will not hesitate to go back to her for future appointments.

Our family has been visiting Jenny for styling since before she opened her own business and we did not think twice about staying with her! She's always innovating, always exploring new technique, and has fantastic instincts for freshening up a cut or updating your color (even if you need a change but aren't sure what direction to take). Her integrity about her work and recommending product or color responsibly are second to none. Short styles or long, you're in excellent hands at Haven Hair Salon.

Jen has been doing my hair for 15 years. Up until I met her, I could not find anyone who would take the time needed to make my hair look great. Even though my hair takes twice the time of most people, she never cuts corners or rushes through. I am so happy to have her and I trust nobody else. Genius hair cutting, coloring, and styling!

I’ve been going to Jenny for a number of years. She is a very talented & gifted stylist who helps me with styles & haircare that fits my lifestyle. The last year or so, a few grey hairs (well, more than a few) have been coming into play. Jenny doesn’t miss a beat & has helped me navigate this new territory so that I feel good & happy about my hair. In addition, I want to mention that her place is fantastic! It’s always very clean, inviting, spacious & cozy at the same time. Finally, Jenny is a wonderful person. She’s smart, interesting, kind, & just a joy to be around. I am so absolutely thrilled with Jenny and the hairstyle and color that she attained for me this weekend, that I have to leave a long review, so bear with me!I had seen 4 different stylists over the course of three years, in an attempt to obtain fun, vivid color with a dark base - at the time, I had my heart set on silver highlights. Each of these previous stylists assured me that they could reach the results I was looking for, and each time I left a salon, I was looking at brassy, orange, and damaged hair. I gave each stylist 2-3 appointments, as I know this is a process - and over the course of three years spent more money than I can imagine, only to end up with results that left me in tears. (I will include before and after photos for reference!)I finally connected with Jenny after following her Facebook page and being drawn to her energy, honesty, and openness. In our digital consultation, Jenny was forthright with me and explained that silver highlights likely wasn't a great fit for my hair - something I wish a previous stylist would’ve mentioned - as it would’ve saved me SO MUCH money and heartache! Jenny was quick to offer an array of alternate ideas, while still listening to my requests and getting a true understanding of my likes and dislikes.On the day of my appointment, I walked in with a last-minute change, and asked for suggestions on a different color. Jenny immediately showed me photos that I fell in love with and in only one session, was able to obtain the most stunning rose-gold highlights with a dark base color, just like I had wanted! Her suggestion was a color I never would’ve thought of and it is by far one of the most favorite colors I’ve ever had.Jenny’s personality is also such a bonus to her talent - you spend your session feeling as if you’re with a friend. She is so kind, open, warm, and accommodating - including delicious homemade coffee drinks! At the end of the session, there was no pressure to buy product or schedule a follow-up, which is something that I’ve experienced with other salons. I recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a new stylist who will truly listen to you and be honest about what might work best for you. Thank you thank you!!

Jenny is an artist who takes her craft very seriously, and is very thoughtful in working with her clients to create the hair style and color that best works for them and their vision. I have been a regular with Jenny for many, many years, and one of the things I like is that every time I go, she looks to see what I need each time, and she doesn't try to "up-sell" to anything unnecessary. She also isn't afraid to give a gently push or suggestion when needed. I trust her, and that's why I've stayed with her (even after I moved from Stillwater to St. Paul). She has never let me down, and I've also truly enjoyed getting to know her as the lovely human being that she is. Highly recommend!Services: Haircut

I stay the course most times but Jen is always willing to try something new-mostly subtle changes to improve the look and feel and ease of my hair. She also doesn’t talk my ear off! I have gone to Jenny‘s salon for several years. What I love about her and the salon is she always shares great ideas and information about styles and what works best for each individual. Jenny is a true artist with hair! She is so creative and helps you achieve beautiful results with your hair type. I have tried things with my hair that I would never have tried with other stylists. I'm a brunette who normally stays with my natural color and golds. But I've tried chocolate, caramel and reds and have loved it. I've also done traditional foils and now balayage! I've gotten short and long cuts, and have never had a haircut I didn't love! I also started getting my eyebrows waxed and love it. On top of that Jenny is an amazing person! She is kind, funny, creative and smart. She is a rare gem!

I have been getting my hair colored by Jenny for close to 10 years now. Ever since I moved to Stillwater, she has been my ONLY stylist. I typically get red highlights and anyone who has had red highlights knows that it can be difficult to make them last, but Jenny always manages to make it happen.She has consistently delivered great results and I have always been very happy with my hair color!Not only is she a professional hair colorist, but she is also a fantastic person to talk to.
