Been here since 9am when they are supposed to be open. Was informed they will not have any staff for another 25 minutes. It is 9:20 right now!! This bank is always closed when it states it is open!! Time to leave!

Different sites give different hours and then comes to find out they're no longer open on Saturday and their business hours are now the same as most peoples job hours. How are you supposed to do business with a bank when they're closing branches and shortening hours? Time to find a new bank I guess.

Update your business hours. Don’t say you’re open until 6pm when you’re not.

5 stars for the service from the employees. Multiple employees say hi Boyd when I walk in or use the drive through.1 star for the ridiculously limited hours open which I’m sure are set by TCF corporate. Hello TCF corporate are you listening? 5pm closing,,,,, REALLY????? Drive through closing used to be 7pm, then COVID-19 hit and hours were cut back, then returned to 6pm. Then again 5pm. I was going to make a deposit today on an insurance payment but you are closed so I might have an overdraft tomorrow.5pm closing is ridiculous!!!!!!

I went to this branch at around 10:00am on a Saturday. I don’t have a TCF account but the personal check I cashed was written off of a TCF account. A young Asian man (had a tattoo on his arm) couldn’t have been nicer. He cashed my check, asked what denomination bills I’d prefer, counted the money out to me and thanked me. I’m not even one of their customers I was not charged a fee for this service, despite not having an account with TCF. I’m thinking about changing banks. Excellent display of what customer service should be.

Tried to charge a 3% fee to cash a check drawn on a TCF account, even though I have a TCF investment account. Claimed all banks charge, unless you have an account. Claimed TCF investments didn't count as an account.

3 different managers told me my account had a hold on it, nothing would go in or come out, which is what I wanted. Instead what happened is they let deposits in but let nothing out. I closed my account today. This comes after years of receiving absolute trash for service. When the branch manager doesn’t know what he’s doing, there’s not much hope for any other employees. Take your money elsewhere!!

DON'T BANK WITH TCF BANK! They are a terrible bank. They s***** you in with the $50 free cash to sign up with them. But after banking with them for a few years, I ended up losing hundreds of dollars to TCF Bank due to fees, fees, and more fees! This bank was practically abandoned every time I went in. They have horrible customer service. I am proud to say that I have closed my account with them & have moved on to someone else! Also, don't bank with Wells Fargo either. They're just as bad (but at least they have better customer service and pretend to care about you). If you bank with TCF Bank in Stillwater, at least use the one inside of Cub Foods. The one inside Cub Foods is much better. If you are looking for a bank, try a credit union or a small, local community bank. You will be glad you did!
