Drop off line is unbearably slow

They really jacked up the prices the last few years, which is insane (because they get the stuff for free). I should not have to pay 8.99 for an average TShirt. It's USED!!!! Also there is a very unfortunate female manager who will yell at you if you try and come in as the store is closing, which I did purely by accident one Sunday. She is short, thin with dark hair and storms around glaring at customers.

Many things seem overpriced. Some items can purchased new for less. Part of the reason people go to thrift stores is to save money - they seem to have forgotten that part. Shelves are disorganized. I was going to buy a book but the line was 6 people deep and no one called for a second cashier. I used to like this Goodwill a lot, esp. for books, but something has changed in the past couple years. Anytime I see a thrift store with a ton of inventory, that tells me their prices are too high and I’ve noticed this more often at Goodwills recently.

Ken the worker - he acted like I kicked his dog then took his money. I had a simple exchange. He acted as if it was the biggest deal ever. Then continued to be rude to me in front of my wife. Also, there’s no dressing rooms. The prices are becoming incredibly absurd as well.

Bad pricing. If you find something worthwhile, it’ll likely be massively overpriced compared to other goodwills. Go to a different goodwill if you actually need to find cheap items.

I came in here to shop for my little baby girl. We have been having troubles affording baby and toddler clothing. We came to find some for her. As I arrived, I walk inside to see a humanized toucan guarding the doors with attitude. She made numerous snarky comments to my wife about her outfit. It angered me. I then reported her to the next employee I found, in which they didn't care either. Her hair was COVERED in grease. No employee should be in this state. This behavior is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

This store is 80% clothing and there are no returns. They have NO dressing rooms. Why would anyone buy a second have item of clothing that they are not allowed to try on? If you cant afford staff for fitting room stop paying your top 10 executives a collective 37 million dollars per year.

Went here and saw a 9 ft Christmas tree that I was interested in. I thought it might’ve been a display so I asked one of the employees if the display was for sell or was there anymore trees like that one in stock? She told me the one that was already set up that I saw was the only one they had and I would have to take it down myself and they would give me a plastic bag to put in ….no thanks. If they’re not going to work what exactly are they getting paid to do?FYI there’s no dressing room & there’s a two week exchange policy

Now I remember WHY I have not been to the Goodwill Store in Oak Park Heights since before the height of the Corona Virus 3 years ago! I went in today to see if I could locate any sweatpants. First of all, they completely got rid of all the short-sleeved shirts except t-shirts. I wear short-sleeved shirts all year long. The sweatpants in stock were crazy, colored “garments” that looked like cartoons! And they all had huge 3-inch waistbands! But the prices were consistent at $6.99 each- no, thanks. This IS a thrift store, by the way. And I will not pay $6.99 a piece for clothing items that have stains on them already- I don’t care WHAT brand they are! I gave up on clothing, and wandered on my mobility scooter over to the other shelves with “stuff” on them. The inventory was very limited. I tried to find some cool little things I could buy as bingo prizes for my old lady bingo players- but even the very cheapest, pieces of garbage things that looked like they came from the Dollar Tree (at $1.25 there) were selling for $1.99 each! And boxes of candy that usually cost 99 cents everywhere else were $1.49 each! Like I said before, this is supposed to be a thrift store! No, thank you-AGAIN!

I liked this location until I had a very crabby and down right RUDE cashier today! (Also EYE ROLLING when I said I qualified for the Healthcare worker discount?) She made me feel very uncomfortable!!! I will not be back!

I have shopped consignment stores since my kids were little. Goodwill has great finds...until NOW! Unbelievable prices now that they a FOR PROFIT. My 25 y.o. daughter, 4'10", needed jeans. She found one pair. I found a few brand name items...a kids Polo sweater: 16.99$ I am disgusted with all Goodwills, but the lack of selection and the prices were ridiculous. One great clerk, one massively confused one. My money is not going to line another rich person's pockets. Time to move on.
