Bossco Absolutely loves coming to see Melissa at In The Dog House. He gets so excited to see her every single time. He is a handful but she has handled him wonderfully ever since he was a baby. Bossco gets many compliments all over town and many free lovins.....we always give In The Dog House the credit for his awesome cut!! What a great 1 stop shop for all our pet wants and needs!!

We have been customers of In the Dog house for years and unfortunately these last few times we've taken our dog to them have not been a great experience.
First off i understand our Shih tzu has arrived matted at times but as someone who formerly worked there i am very well aware of the "form" given to customer's prior to grooming incase there's any rashes or hot spots that appear due to close shaving to the skin which was not given.
He arrived overly shaven behind his ears and on his paw.
They never communicated with us about him being matted or what the issue was that caused the injuries.
This most recent grooming my dog came back with FLEAS. He did not get dropped off with them, he is an indoor dog for the most part and has never had fleas in his life.
Please do better in cleaning in between dogs and communication between staff and dog owners. It is NOT fun having to deal with this at home and it's very upsetting for the prices we pay to have him groomed there to end up with these consequences.
I used to recommend this place to everyone but now this will be on my NOT to go list.

Kaia is the BEST!!! My dog Murphy is a handful and at times naughty ? However, she has a vibe that gives him comfort! He absolutely LOVES her! I wouldn't ever choose anyone else to handle my buddy boy! Thank you!!!! We ❤️ you! Oh and she has mad grooming skills! ?

I love this place! The thoughtfulness and care of all staff members is evident. The work Jacob does with the dogs in daycare is above and beyond, and the owner is so nice too. Grateful for a good AND SAFE experience for dogs to go to.

The staff here is AMAZING! They were super fast and courteous. Our dog was pretty nervous to get her nails clipped and the groomer was comforting her the whole time.

I can't say enough good things about Jacob! I was hesitant to bring our large untrained dog, fearing bad behavior since he had never gone before. He assured me he would take it slow and stop if there were any problems. Our dog did great there with the help of Jacob, it appears we as owners are the problem and will be seeking Jacob's help with training.

Liked it at first then took my dogs there and one of them came home with a bleeding paw! It bled all over our car, and when we called about it they avoided our calls. Once we did get ahold of them they said they "thought" the bleeding had stopped. Not impressed that they 1. Didn't tell us then 2. Denied our calls. Had to pull over to clean up my pup. They did a pretty good job before this though, didn't go back afterwards. Its been awhile since this though.

I absolutely love The Dog House! I bring my dogs in to get nails clipped and they are always so patient with my dramatic pups. My yorkie is a baby and they always love on him and make him feel as comfortable as possible. Jacob Larson was phenomenal with my Basenji too. He was so patient, knowledgeable, calm and did fantastic with our “hard to trust people” Basenji. Highly recommend this place!

They did an amazing job with my girl. I have a German shepherd service dog that I needed groomed while we were traveling through Northfield. They got her in right away and made sure to give her extra care so she wasn’t traumatized which would affect her training. Thank you for taking such good care of Liberty! ❤️?❤️
