Great gamer atmosphere, plenty of vintage systems and tons of games to choose from. Owner is an awesome guy who clearly has passion for gaming and it reflects the moment you walk into this place.

Amazing service with a HUGE assortment of retro games, cards, figures, etc. that are always reasonably priced. They have a free arcade in the front of the store, and my wife and I always play games for a bit before we shop. Please support physical media stores like this because they are not only the best places to buy retro games, they are great hubs for all generations to explore and appreciate all forms of games.

Been going to this store for a couple years now and have a lovely and pleasant experience every time. The owner has always been super nice and it's clear he has a lot of video games knowledge whenever we chat about games. Always very welcoming to anyone and a good atmosphere in general

Best game place I have ever visited , I have been taking my son here for three years (& we’ve been to so many others that we’re not as good as this place) always a fair price , always knowledgeable , always friendly.

Have stopped in multiple times through a couple years and the staff is always friendly and prices reasonable. Way better than other "Zero" star confused stores in the area.

Had a pleasant conversation with the owner, who clearly knows what's in the store and has a passion for the business and what he sells. The store itself is clean, well-lit, and well-organized.I intend to visit 1Up again the next time I'm in Minnesota to buy some games and to ask the owner whether he enjoyed Earthbound.

Cool, free arcade games in the front! Lots of variety for PSP, Xbox, Wii, GameCube, NES, and gameboy games. They sell some gameboys and charging equipment too, with lots of other goodies throughout the store. Really kind, generous owner. Love it and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being awesome!!

Scott the owner is a great man and always makes sure his customers have a great experience. I personally go for the pokemon cards and they have a great selection for a small business at a great price. Comparing prices to the target next door and definitely would trust my money going with 1Up.

Awesome, friendly, and fair owner. He has clearly worked hard to develop this shop as not only a retail store, but also an entertainment destination. The variety of free video games available for play is incredible!

By far my favorite games store. Fun games right in front, staff are nice and friendly every time. Prices are definitely reasonable in my opinion. I did have some stuff to sell that they didn't want, but that's understandable considering inventory and they'd have to test everything. I'll be coming back for future gaming needs. Thank you!

I visited this business for the first time today. And while their inventory and facility seemed impressive, their service is not. I brought in games and accessories to sell, only to be told they didn't have a buyer in and the buyer only works Thursday mornings, Friday evenings, and Saturdays. This reeks of control-freak micromanaging leadership/ownership. If the first thing your website advertises is that your business buys games from all systems, all employees should be empowered to do so. I would rather support a local game store over a corporate one; but sadly, I cannot recommend this local game store.
